Ready to return to management 🤣

Mark Hughes re-energised and confident of management return - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55691203

This is the best bit

"Those opportunities will keep on coming, you'd like to think, given the CV that I've got. You just have to wait for the right one."

Glad to see that the ego hasn't been too badly damaged by his abject failure

Some mug will take him on, after he's interviewed them.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

I’m not sure who I despise more, him or Redcrap!
Between them they nearly destroyed our club and helped to make us a laughing stock.

It's damn close alright, hantssi. Damn close.

He was plying his wares on Talksport yesterday. Does a good job selling himself, comes over quite well.

Poll: Thank God The Seaons Over.

Newcastle is my guess.

Between them they eviscerated the club.

I believe it will take at least 10 years to repair the damage they did - which is why I do not believe we will have a truly competitive, winning, team that we can reasonable expect to be in the top 6 spots until around 2025.

Yeah to be fair I thought he was pretty good on that. Sounded more humble than he has before....

... it won't last.

Never knowingly right.

Good shout, he probably fancies Chelsea, but not sure they would go for another relatively young ex PL player after Frank.

I’m liking the relatively young there Paul, he’s 57!
I’m nearly 60 so that must make me a young pup too!!

I'm the same age as you - I meant as opposed to the Sam Allardyce, Roy Hodgson age I guess.

Yep I agree btw, we're both young pups!

Perfect fit for Sheffield Wednesday I reckon.

Maybe his ego is miffed at getting beaten to the Baggies job by BFS so he's getting his face/cv out there

“You don’t actively persue somebody else’s job” Meanwhile I’ll just do as much media as I can as I’m rested and refreshed.

Whoever takes that ego on deserves him and unlucky to their fans. He really is one.

HUghes by a long chalk - at least Redknapp delivered something.

How Hughes keeps getting the big up from the Media is incredible, don't forget he brought in Rigg as well.

What do managers do about gaps on their CV? He's been off the merry-go-round for more than two years. I'd love to see the pitch for his next job - he's never won anything as a manager and even those years of Premier League mediocrity are a long way in the past now.

Hughesless on 17:35 - Jan 17 with 4966 viewsTGRRRSSS

He can use the lockdown and covid situation for that, and also maybe going on about time away educating himself - I don't doubt he comes across very well in an interview, he's quietly spoken and has a professorial style about him which probably works well at that stage.

How he actually manages to explain his results is anyones guess.

The Taffia will arrive, and the usual mess will begin.

I would love it if Lampard gets the sack and him to take over that would absolutely make my year

Crosses fingers for Chelscum!

Please please Lord, I have been good this year ... well mostly ... sometimes ... better than last year anyway.

Much as I'd love it to happen, I don't think Roman is that stupid. You can't see him getting another Premier League job, so he'll have to slum it in the Championship.

Wouldn’t it be fun to be the person who interviewed him for his next job and brought up all the things we know.

So Mark ............

Hard to see who might bite these days. Wednesday are a decent shout.

Taffia string puller Mike Rigg is at Burnley but Dyche seems to have reasserted himself with the new owners for now.

If Blackburn keep this midtable form up until the end of the season could be a change there at the only place that remembers him fondly.

His CV reads no relegations yet every single club is in a lot worse position than it was before he joined. I think almost every team either got relegated that same season or the very next season!

Can't believe he can spin that no relegation nonsense

Redknapp by a mile. Hughes for all his arrogance and misjudged belief in his own abilities wanted to build a successful football team. His ego made an arse of it and cost us a fortune. Redknapp on the other hand just wanted to take as much money out of the club as he possibly could. Deep down he didn’t give a toss about football.

Strong and stable my arse.
