No issue. Signings on deadline day take longer to get processed by the EFL. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was tomorrow before it’s cleared. Nothing stopping us announcing it ‘pending clearance’, but there must be a reason we are waiting. | |

The only news I have is that the deal went through successfully at around 4.50pm on Friday. It then required EFL clearance, as all deals do, but this is a formality and doesn’t usually stop clubs announcing a signing. So, in short, I don’t know why neither Dale or Brighton haven’t announced this and can only guess that it’s because they want the player to arrive and do all the photos/interview etc before doing so. | |
