Keef was always a rhythm guitarist. Apples and oranges...

Mick Taylor was very underrated though. Some great stuff on Blues From Laurel Canyon. Another graduate from the Mayall Academy.

Talking of Mayall and live versions this always had me tapping the steering wheel like a loon when I was a teenager.

What makes a "live" version for most?

I tend to go for something a bit different to the recorded version. The two I've posted add something that isn't on the album which makes them worth hearing. Another example from everyone's favourite Welsh pub rockers/Coronavirus enablers The Stereophonics...
