Bolton not playing their games? 07:59 - Sep 28 with 2559 viewsvisualman

Does anybody know what the EFL have done or are going to do to Bolton for not playing the game last season and the one from this season. Seems to have gone very quite about it like they want people to forget about it

Apparently they are still looking into it, any potential punishment is still to come.

Think I read somewhere that the EFL have referred both unplayed games - one from last season, one from this - to an independent committee.

Whenever that happens a decision will then be made about further potential points deductions which surely must be made to hold the integrity of the other leagues and teams together. The Donnie game btw., although wholly postponed by BW without any consultation beforehand, is expected to be played at some point.

See where you might be coming from here - once again L1 appears to be sectioning off - but at least today/Fri. night only Accy and Portsmouth picked up any points in the bottom half of the league from Lincoln down...and they're 11th!! Not great though looking on others demise for our survival but hopefully things will pick up.
