I thought the turn out was decent, I'm not sure what people want. It went well for both those who felt not turning up was a protest and for those who went likewise.

Today's protest on 19:47 - Feb 17 with 2711 views | JackSomething | Some people stayed away in protest Some people couldn't make it because of other commitments Some people never go to cup games (our Europa league attendances were shoddy) Can't see why some people are getting their panties in a twist about it. If you want to think it makes you a 'better' fan by going then go ahead and feel that way. It's a free country.

Good point Chief. A winnable tie away in the 5th round of the Cup, an easy journey up the M4, no problems with their owners, what's their excuse? I wonder how many of the 1000 are posting on their message boards on the way home, basking in their superfan status.

It was on TV and it was Brentford if we were playing Man City or Man Utd the place would have been rammed.

Possibly, but there was only 17,500 for the quarter final last year against Spurs. There were 15k there for the Gillingham game (don't know away support percentage of that), but that dropped to 11,200 today. Why would there be that many less one round further in to the competition? The transfer deadline shambles came between the two ties, so that's possibly a contributing factor. The fact it was on TV would also be a factor. I don't think we'd sell out a home QF, no matter who we draw.

Free country it is.... Some people don't go to the games...but make bullets Some people stay away in protest...and get behind their keyboards to get self fkn riteous about it Some people are here just to stir the sht and don't give a monkeys fck about my team I'm here as a supporter of the team. I went today...I'm a season ticket holder...and I'm fkn sick of the negativity on this site. If you're a Swans supporter support the team....if you have a problem with the owners...the trust...or the fkn lady who works on the tea and beer counter...then phone a friend for fks sake...

Or go to the games and have your own point of view. Regardless of others. And enjoy days like today.

There are multiple threads started by people moaning about those who didn't go to the game. Haven't seen a thread criticising people who did go. Who's getting self-righteous again?
