Defending corners 17:51 - Oct 6 with 1541 views | stevethejack | Crazy how we defend with 11; put a player in the centre circle and he will generally tie up 2 of the opposition. Only very rarely in the last 20 years have we employed this tactic. One game that we employed this tactic was the awesome PL game against West Brom when we were 3-0 up at HT. No outlet today when we headed the corner out and Ipswich were able to attack us again.

Defending corners on 18:13 - Oct 6 with 1453 views | GeoffThom | If you watch their 3rd goal you have the little Scot marking the scorer who’s way taller ,I never understand leaving a little guy in there unless on the post ,leave him up top to pull out some players ,it bloody annoys me that we don’t
Defending corners on 19:53 - Oct 6 with 1372 views | Badlands | their first - we switched off, arrogant over confident and just bad their second - same their third - ridiculous substitution Players lost a point Potter lost us the other 2.

Defending corners on 20:50 - Oct 6 with 1305 views | manseltonsa5 | I run a local under 15 team and I always encourage 2 of my players to stay at the centre circle when defending corners taking out 3 of the opposition team to worry about them as the 2 I keep there are normally quick and small. Can't see the point of having to many back as they get in each other's way and half don't jump at corners
Defending corners on 22:13 - Oct 6 with 1221 views | builthjack | It makes sense to keep a player up front, it would keep 2 or 3 opposition players out of the area. I guess Potter may do that after today, and even more so after reading planet swans.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Potter went for broke when he pulled VdH off - it wasn’t even 3 CB’s, it was more like LB, CB, RB and the space between them was enormous. When we pulled it back to 2-2 I genuinely thought we would go on and win it. Unfortunately we got hit with the sucker punch.

Not only did he remove the defensive pattern he removed height from the team. Byers or Carrol should have made way not Hoorn. But, Astro and MxKay? WTF

I agree about Asoro as I saw absolutely nothing wrong with how we were operating down the RHS. Was Naughton injured or was it tactical?

Possibly Connor wasn't having much joy so he was dropped back and Naughton sacrificed! Who knows? I'd have had Naughton in midfield and taken Byers or Carroll off. But there again I'd have had Mulder in goal, Dyer & Rutledge on the bench with CBR.
