Disgraceful attitude in the build up play for the Irish goal. Sinking Everton, stupid haircut and two stone overweight. Just f**k off son.

Davies was furious with him for not reacting quicker. I do not blame him. Walking back not covering the obvious space behind Davies was appalling.

Definitely the end of an era. Reminds me of Bobby Moore in Katowice in 1973....except the lazy Kent ain’t Bobby Moore.

I agree, Williams should never have been given that ball.

It was sh|t distribution no doubt, but the goal could’ve still been prevented if ash’s half time pie hadn’t repeated on him.

He has gone backwards very quickly since he left us.

But to call him a national embarassment is just ridiculously unfair. He has given his all for Wales for years. We didn't qualify. Massively disappointing. But scapegoating players is mad.

Apart from Ramsay. Cos scapegoating him is fine given how dreadful he was. It was his time to step up in the absence of Bale and then Allen and he bottled it and hid away. Coward.

Actually that's a very good point, he's been utterly crap all campaign.

I did single him out on the match thread as it happens.

He's massively overrated. Stupid Cardiff tosser.

Ramsey has become a big time Charlie. No passion for his country and very lazy on the ball. Didn't seem to realize he had to work hard to match the Irish midfield's competitiveness.
Should be dropped from now on, he's wasting a red shirt every time he plays nowadays.
Bale has more talent in his nostril hair

I will never forget Ash's headed equaliser against Belgium and the rest of the game including Vokes winning header.

Tonight we had to score to qualify - so our defence were trying to keep ball alive as much as they could to mount sustained pressure back on Ireland.

Credit to Ireland a they worked hard to cause the mistake.

It was a shame the Ireland would have probably had to open up from about 80 mins as they too needed a winner.

I don't think though we would have scored tonight even if they had.

Credit to our team though beat Austria, Moldavia and Georgia and just fell short tonight.

When we have disappointments like tonight makes winning even more sweeter.

We're witnessing the decline of a once exceptionally good player as age catches up with him. Ash has one disastrous mistake in him every game now, as Everton are finding to their cost. One of our better transfer decisions of recent years. He was just too slow to recycle the ball even though he had time, and got caught in possession.
I'm not too disappointed in the result because once Bale was unavailable, I was pretty sure it was game over as far as World Cup qualification was concerned. Mind you, I was surprised at just how sh1t Ramsey was on the night. Ben was below par going forward, although he did well defensively. Once the Irish realized they could foul us with impunity thanks to the weak as bat's p*ss ref, they took full advantage. FIFA should launch an enquiry into the man in blue - how that wasn't a red card in the final seconds for the studs up dive at Hennessey's ankle, I'll never know. And the foul on Joey to knock him out was a yellow at least.
But let's face it, the Irish were bringing on subs who looked as if they'd been carved straight from Wicklow granite, and who do we bring on? A feckin' garden gnome.

Ageing centre back in mistakes and lack of pace shocker.

Ash has been a f**king brilliant CB for the majority of his career for the Swans and for Wales.

His time is now coming to an end, which was always inevitable. Thankfully we sold him at the perfect time. We do criticise our recruitment and selling (and rightfully so) a lot, but the sale of Ash was spot on.

Credit to Hendrick though, winning that ball, keeping the ball in play and to delver a pin point pass for an excellent finish by McLean. Even with the mistakes by Williams and Hennessey, this wasn't a clear opening, Hendrick's desire won the goal as much as any mistake there.
