BBC2 9PM Who should we let in ? 22:41 - Jun 22 with 8685 viewsValerie

It may as well have been a 1 hour Party political Broadcast for the Labour Party.

Unvelievably biased left wing propaganda.

Very happy I do not have to pay a license fee for this and I expect
much the same from Question Time coming on now.

The millionaire leftie luvvies who make up the management of the company
are shameless.

The BBC is as mentioned before 'centre'. The left and the right moan about bias so what does that tell you?

Thank you, goodnight and bollocks

Take a look who they are.

Mostly champagne socialists.

Obviously the truth hurts when your only reply is a
childish insult you would expect of a little school boy.

It was actually extremely interesting but yes, incredibly biased in favour of uncontrolled immigration.

Have you seen the state of the indigenous population these days?

Deliberately dumbed down f*ckwits, automaton drones with not an original thought in their head that doesn't come from their tightly controlled brainwashing information stream.

I suppose that's another discussion entirely though...

So Conservative then? Seeing as they've done f*ck all about it since they last got into office. Also doubled the national debt since then.

We always hear about the 'magic money tree', despite the fact that the tories have borrowed more than every Labour government combined in history. The magic money tree is situated in the tax evasion forest.

The end goal of the comprehensive 'edukashun' system?

If you can't think intelligibly you can't formulate effective objection or opposition to anything. Without the tools you can't tackle the job, you're 'had.'

I do generally vote Conservative yes, and I'm not saying that the recent Conservative Governments have done enough in relation to immigration.

Mind you, no Government could have done, as being part of the EU and the Single Market we had to accept freedom of movement of people within the EU. So there was no answer.

As long as Brexit is seen through to allow us to control our borders, we can manage immigration effectively.

I sometimes wonder if the sole purpose of school (edukashun!) is to indoctrinate the populace into thinking that somehow the only way of life in this realm is to spend five days a week, all day, in a certain place, doing a certain thing. By the time you're sixteen you're in no position to question it because it's all you (and your immediate ancestors) have ever known. And then you have to spend said days earning figures on a screen controlled by people who don't have your best interests at heart, and who will attempt to funnel as much of those said figures into the hands of their benefactors. Time is the most precious commodity on this planet, and it's been stolen from us without us even knowing. By stealth.

I've always been a bit odd mind, in fairness...

Any education system in the world perpetuates the "system" of the given society, it has always been thus, from Ancient Greece to Nazi Germany. Our system fits the needs of our society.

What it does do is give people a broad education and choice (not enough choice for my liking) - so people are free to pursue the creative arts, for example, which clearly are not 9-5.

I suppose the point is if you don't embrace education and realise its value from a young age then a life of struggling drudgery awaits you.

The quality of education is in general absolutely piss poor in this country though. In many of my classes the teacher would just stick a slide up on the overhead projector, we would furiously try and write down as much as we could and then regurgitate certain basic facts at a later date.

The best teacher I ever had was a history teacher who largely threw the curriculum in the bin and encouraged discussion, arguments and critical thought. If every teacher was like him my education would have been a joy as opposed to the copy as much down off the overhead projector as you can borefest.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Definitely more tinfoil required, what a bizarre post! I would have said, whatever it's limitations, that the purpose of the education system is to free people from the kind of drudgery you describe. The more you achieve in education, the wider and more appealing your life choices are.

In my experience, it's the people who fail to engage with education who end up in drudgery or, more common these days, end up with no work at all, and subsist on benefits.

If you don't want paid employment, you either expect the rest of the populace to support you with their taxes, you have a rich family to support you, or you do something like 'The Good Life' and run a smallholding to support yourself. Twas ever thus, since man stopped being a hunter gatherer, there ain't no escaping it, mate, and speaking for myself, I have no desire to support you, you lazy fecker!

Yeh, just think about all the champagne socialists leading the BBC.

Nick Robinson - former member of the Young Conservatives
Andrew Neil - former member of the Young Conservatives
Mark Thompson (ex BBC Director General until 2012) - former member of the Young Conservatives
David Clementi (current Chairman of the BBC) - vice chair of Virgin Money
Laura Kuenssberg (political editor of the BBC)any fair observation will tell you that she could not be accused of bias towards Labour
David Dimbleby - Oxbridge-educated former member of the Bullingdon Club

For what it's worth, I'm not even suggesting that all of these people are biased towards the Tories, but the idea that it is full of "left-wing luvvies" is, how can I put this succinctly, nonsense.
