Just watching the Posh v WBA.
Only joined it 2nd half, but impressed with the Posh tbh.
Young talented players , attack the only thing on their mind.

Forrester is the business isn't he and Samuelson is a real talent. They are a great team to watch. Giving WBA a real game. To be fair WBA have worked hard.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Would love to see us take a punt on youngsters like this for a reasonable fee but let Peterborough or whoever retain a considerable sell on percentage.

What's Galling is that Peterborough have been churning out youngsters for years and selling them on for a huge profit , people mock Barry Fry but he must be doing something right , we have wasted years and years buying overpaid mercenaries , we as a club should be scouting the Samuelsons of the world before Peterborough do , why wasn't the likes of Gayle, Washington, Boyd, assombalonga not on our radar years ago ?
they may be a division below us but we could learn a lot from Peterborough

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Yep, I think we would all agree with that. However, that is what the new structure of coaching and scouting is trying to achieve, so we have to let them get on with it and hope in five to ten years we are all admiring it!

I watched the whole game last night and 'Posh' were very impressive. Lot's of good individual performances including the cb with the big beard. Wonder how raising their game and whether they can play like that on a regular basis.

Good to see a proper cup tie on the 'beeb'!

In the balance of fairness in saying QPR should be like posh in recruitment, first I live in Peterborough and although nitk I've a fair idea, the posh probably sign at least 10 of these sort of players every year some make it to the first team some drift back to non league and 1 in 30 move on for big money, that's a very low success rate to player turnover, not sure we as a club/fans could sustain or put up with that, there has to be a balance, the posh board won't spend money never have and the council own the ground, their budget/wages are very low sme have to shop non league it's not scouting its necessity. Graham westley (manager) was a QPR youth player.

also worth bearing in mind that Posh were depleted last hight having had 2 sent off on Saturday and Washington's replacement (Tom Nichols) sidelined due to playing for Exeter in earlier rounds.

hats off to them; deserved the win over the 2 games, shoot out is a pretty unfair way to go out all things considered.

A lot of those Peterborough players looked very decent. Surprised Zakuani hasn't done mre with his career on that evidence - met a clearing header in the first half with such velocity it's just touched down in Norwich.
