Every time we lose he gets a whack! Regularly his players get a whack!
I want to be the first on here to congratulate Nigel for his team selection (got it right this time) and also the players who fought hard, dug deep and ground out a result.
Sure the Blades are a very poor team but that makes it tougher playing a team you have to beat and are just as nervous as you.
The players showed, passion, heart and guts to get the win and bring home the points.
This was not a team who do not care, they did not play like the manager has lost the dressing room.
Derby have a lot of problems to face on and off the field but I genuinely think the players and our Manager are giving it their all.
We need to give as much as we can back! - Well done boys.
Nigel Clough said after the match:
"This one is for the supporters as much as anyone. They were were unbelievable today, not just in numbers but the support they gave us.”
"The reaction at the final whistle showed how much it meant to everyone, the players couldn't wait to celebrate with the fans."
In Clough I trust - don't really care what anyone else says to the negative today. When it counted he and his team came up trumps. |

I was listening to Sav on the 606 phone in and a Rotherham fan rang in raving about the brilliance of LeFondre and asked Robbie why a Derby scout was at the game and if it was LeFondre they were after.
Robbie could only nervously laugh as he tried to give a politicians answer and if I was a betting man believe that he is the one Nigel raced off to see.... or sign?
