EFL vs Welsh clubs in Europe 18:20 - Dec 20 with 721 viewsQJumpingJack

No surprise.
For the best.
Lets move on and hope we can qualify by winning the League Cup etc as we did in 2013

The damage has already been done imo. It should never ever have been contemplated in the first place. This may become a reference point with which to beat Welsh clubs playing in the EFL in the future. Big mistake.

They have merely expressed their reservations. This line is instructive.

"the EFL has now written to the FA to outline why the governing body would be within its rights to turn down the move."

The views of the Europeans are more relevant and it will certainly end there. They steamrollered the FAW to set up the League of Wales forcing out the EFL teams. This was a move to close loopholes.

The FAW should respond by blocking Welsh players from Team GB. No other players outside these islands can serve two flags contemporaneously.

This is why we should always keep a keen eye on the club owners, they are totally inexperienced and as this idea confirmed it. Pretty clueless at times as well. Messing around with 124 years of Swansea history. Mugs.

Anyone with an ounce of sense could see that this would never work. Another reason why we need someone with football knowledge and experience advising Coleman and the owners on football matters and being a link between the management and staff.

I wonder how much time and money this has cost us and the other clubs?

The Swans were the forerunners and they have met on a number of occasions with thingy (the bloke at the FAW) so if its Gude then a few hundred grand I would say in earnings related to this project. He is a delegator so there’s others too in this four month plan.

Pointless nonsense, never take an eye of those who run this club, the proof of their inability at times is glaringly obvious.

They have to learn from their mistakes just like HJ, MM and LD did back in the day.

Potter had a possession team that was exciting with class performers like Fer pulling the strings. Cooper Martin and Duff have turned the team into a very boring outfit.

Williams is buttering up the leaden footed Grimes and Fulton who is too slow and not athletic enough. Allen and Cullen are also feted like heroes while being pretty average. Get Abdullai in the team in midfield as a box to box player. He is not a Williams type player but perhaps Williams has to change.

"a few hundred grand"

are we in a position to be throwing this sort of money around....?
