We need to get in more on loan players than what we sell, then next season try and get in as many players on loan as the players we already have on loan this season who will go back to there clubs, also a worrying trend for those wonderful owners of our is the quickening demise of the clubs assets they are going to find it difficult to keep lining there pockets at this rate, we should all spare a thought on there behalf they may even have to cut yes man Winters wage at this rate. | | | |

Logically yes, but I'm not so optimistic about that happening. Unless it's a loan.
We do have cover though in Cullen, Walsh, Whittaker. Lowe would have only been backup IMO this year. |  |

As of yesterday we were still down on numbers with the squad even without anyone leaving.
As we stand we have lost Roberts and Lowe.
In comings are Williams and Obafemi.
We needed 3/4 players before anyone leaving so on my maths we still need those 3/4 players!

Attacking midfielder or 2.
Defender to replace Roberts.
Not having it that Laird and Downes were the replacements, still down on numbers even including these 2. They need to pick it up or the screw is going to turn even more and in doing so making it harder for Martin and the players. | |

What concerns me, Lowe scored 14 goals last season and is going to be replaced by a rookie(albeit with potential) with no history of scoring goals at senior level.
Piroe, Obafemi and Cullen... Massive gamble that.
Lowe had a history of goals at senior level and the new striker needed to atleast match that, we need another striker and one who has a record of goals. Can take Roberts going as Laird looks class but we are now short that side with only Naughton a realistic and ready replacement if injuries/suspensions come along.
Midfield is strong but creativity in that final third is non existent as it stands.

Clear we need numbers, needed 3/4 before any players left...we needed a striker before Lowe left so him leaving means we need 2!
Think we have enough if Grimes going and Ntcham would be a little bonus if it comes off. Roberts going means we need another defender also.
Not looking good and certainly makes Martin's comments"squad will be certainly stronger for our next match" strange and certainly will not please Martin and many fans.
