They say kids rarely catch it and older school children dont get anywhere near as bad. If you want go into Public Health Wales facebook or twitter page select the top link and all the information is given in buttons on the top. It is clear the older you are the more risky it becomes. I know a number who have had it. One had 88 and survived One had it 84 and died. One had it 77 and died. One had it late 60s and died. Another had it early 60s and died. 2 had it very late 50s survived but were very unwell and warned me to avoid it. 1 who was 53 was ill with it and thought he was going to be hospitalised on a number of occasions he felt so ill. One 47 spent a month in a coma and died. One 45 felt unwell but never to the point of feeling need to be hospitalised. 2 in their 20s who didnt feel particularly unwell. My step son is a head of a comp. He told us before Christmas they had 15 cases all term and the kids who caught it had parents with it and many had been abroad.

They don’t seem to like publishing details on deaths per day in individual Health Board areas, this guy is normally pretty good for info. https://mobile.twitter.com/statsjamie?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ct

Section 4 shows how rampant positive cases are in school aged children. (In England) The number of seriously ill children is tiny, it’s the spreading impact that is a concern.

Powys figures are dodgy. Many from Powys have been taken over the border to Hereford, Birmingham etc hospitals, and died there. So don't get counted. By the way, it's rife around here now.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Powys figures have always been a problem. No major A&E there. People taken to Hereford, Morriston etc depending on where in Powys
