I left early (slag me off if you want) to get my train connections home. Yes, there was quite a bit of activity. Four pairs of mounted police trotting towards the road in question as fast as they could through the crowd, and about a dozen coppers running to the area. This was about a couple of minutes before the end and in a side street on the left between the ground and Fulham Broadway tube. No idea what was going on as I needed to get on that tube pronto so i just ran past it. It could have been anything. Certainly a lot of ticket touts around the ground today so with a bit of luck it was them being beaten up by the Chelsea fans. The only certainty is that it appears not to be DYSS ,which is a bit of a shame. |  | | |

Isn't it amazing that everyone that was at the match, walked through the area, is drinking around the ground even now, socialising with chelsea fans etc saw nothing at all and yet Beavis had a text from a 'friend' that said it was kicking off and the police were there.

I'm probably in the majority, but I find that quite sad. You'd think in this enlightened age when you rightly can't taunt people because of race, gender and sexual preferences that someone should be allowed to celebrate a goal without others wanting to kick their head in. Another area where rugby is ahead of our sport (and as a result their fans are treated like adults). |
Another area?? Rugby is a minority sport. The less that turn up then the less likelihood of trouble. They don't fight at the bog snorkelling finals either.
I know some will mention welsh matches at the mill Stad but most of them never watch regional rugby. Then there are the wife beating stats afterwards. . . .
