Hi guys, my brother, like myself a lifelong R, died yesterday morning.He was diagnosed with MS 20 years ago and became wheelchair bound. At Christmas time he contracted a brain tumour which ultimately did for him.Through all of this, he remained in good spirits and followed the r's every game. It's so sad that he wont be around for the play-offs he would have loved them. I'm just hoping the team can do it for him, Derek wont be screaming at the TV on Friday night, I will be and I will be raising a glass to him. Come on U R'SSSSSSSS! |  | | |  |

There are never the words for somebody at a time like this, suffice to say there are those that feel your pain and those that one day will. I like to feel that we are part of a Rangers family, a mismatch of individuals bound by one love.
I'm sorry that Derek won't get to see us triumph at Wembley ( God willing) but I don't doubt for a second that you will be watching with the heart of 2.

Bang..... and there's the reality check.
Some things are so, so, so much more than football and my sincere condolences for your loss.
However it's also at these times when solace can be taken in the fact that Derek was part of a huge family. A family that bikers, loves and has its share of loons and weirdos but we are all brothers and sisters in arms, one love under a blue and white hooped vista
So Derek mate, I never met you but I just know you were a sound fella and I hope and pray these current incumbents of the shirt can do it proud for you, your brother and immediate family. Have a word with the big fella if you can
