In 2007 I had an operation on my knee to remove the cartlidge. Obviously being unable to work I went cap in hand to the Labour run welfare state. I was told, even though on crutches, that I was able for work and was sent to some place that taught people about personal hygene, you know, washing your hair and brushing your teeth etc.
I found that very helpful, in fact, my hair and teeth haven't shut up about it since. Thank you and God bless Labour.
Also, when I was in receipt of benefits for the 3 months of my mind bending hygene therapy, my missus, who had a part time job, was forced to sign on too! Utterly fookin twisted, a working person forced to sign on and search for more work because the caring, benevolent, all loving Labour government decided we were a fookin burden.
Labour? yes I do, 5 days a week and thanks to the coalition I don't pay tax anymore. Fook the Labour party, they suck on the teats of corporations to feed their own coffers. | | | |

Yeah its absolutely amazing that anyone could possibly have voted for Labour under Blair, I mean he only won three elections, each times with majorities vastly bigger than anything Cameron would get in is wettest dream. Presumably you never met anyone who voted for him, possibly due to living in Tibet for a decade or so, or just having no friends.
Why anyone would not have preferred a genius like Ian Duncan-Smith, a tornado of charisma such as John Major, a towering statesman like William Hague or the sheer charm of Michael Howard is a true mystery of the age. And why we all did not take to the streets in the face of the longest period of sustained economic growth of the last 200 years is amazing. Growth rates of never less than 1.6% and up to 3%, unemployment lower than at any stage since 1979; how did we take it? (What happened in 1979 by the way? Oh I remember! The Tories got elected on a slogan of "Labour isn't working" and immediately put unemployment up by 2 million. What larks! Funny how it got back to pre-Thatcher levels when Labour got in, eh?)

In the last year of the Labour Government 1 out of every £4 spent was borrowed . When they left office there was nothing left except that massive debt and the interest on it . We have to borrow every month just to meet the payments . A party that is aiming to deal with that rather than leave it to your 3 young kids to pay is worth supporting IMO | | | |

I don't think that really supports your statement by referencing comedy panel shows, they make fun of whoever they can. The bbc is often sighted as being left wing, but I don't that's applicable to their political shows or news programmes. | | | |
