Surely he's allowed some leisure time?
Is there no type of work you can do Tazzy?
i cant do anything warehouse based at the risk of rebreaking it meaning that i could lose the leg if it happens again and jobwise there is never anything going in what i actually wanna do

I have 2 jobs Tazzy, sometimes 3. I don't want to do them, I just have to.
Is there nothing that you would consider, rather than want to do?

I don't like it when anyone says I can't find anything I want to do, that I'm afraid just isn't good enough. During my apprenticeship the arse fell out of the construction industry leaving my previous firm possibly unable to see me through to the end of my apprenticeship.
I didnt sit around thinking oh I don't fancy working there, I applied EVERYWHERE even if it meant not finishing my qualification right then (which I paid for due to me being over a certain age when I started it) funnily enough I got a good number of replies. The work is out there, if you want too find it is another matter.

Surely drinking and going to games isn't helping getting it back to its best?
If Tazzy chooses to budget some of his £90 per week on going to Dale away matches, and forgoes other 'luxuries' then good on him. If you are working but think you can't afford to go to away matches then it's because you choose to spend your money on other things, and have different priorities. Which is fair enough. It's all about the lifestyle choices we make.

THis is exactly my point.
I guess I just fell into my apprenticship and then managed to complete it. When it came to looking for work to ensure I finished my apprenticeship I applied EVERYWHERE didn't you read that? This means asda, macdonalds think I even applied to be a milkman.. But you have to be a certain age to do that.
You are very unlikely to get a job in media taz, I'm sorry but its the truth. My girlfriend wants to be an art teacher, but she may also have to work in an office because sometimes life just isn't as easy as we want it.

That last statement just says about everything what is wrong with this country today - Tazzy get off your arse and stop thinking the world owes you a living.

"I just fell into my apprenticship"
Does that count as an industrial accident? You should ask tazzy about benefits

I've been a bit of a lurker on this forum but I had to post on this thread.
Come on mate. Stop playing the victim. Lifes just not that easy? Your holding out for your dream job?
I think most people want to land their dream job, but in the mean time they work. I graduated from university 3 years ago. I've been holding out for my dream job since I graduated. In the mean time I've been working in factories, as a carpet fitter, contact centres, jobs which are soul destroying. I've managed to land a 'dream job' now through the competences/skills I aquired working in these jobs. Get off your backside and make something of your life.
