Well, these music threads are much less depressing than the QPR ones at the moments so here is a link to an interesting article from the BBC site. A few surprises there but more importantly what is your best cover version.

For me it is Respect by Adeva

Few of my personal favourites...

Doom legends Reverend Bizarre cover Barathrum's Dark Sorceress, and also have the latter's vocalist Demonos Sova on backing vocals:

Death's version of Painkiller by Judas Priest. One of those rare occasions when the cover sounds better than the original. Chuck Schuldiner sounds more Rob Halford than Halford himself! Those screams...

This one restores my faith in the universe that not all kids out there are listening to the latest winners of the x factor and justin bieber...

Here's me and the missus doing a selection of acoustic covers... Might not be quite as polished as some of the others out there but at least we are both R's fans...

Football is Faith
Poll: OK.. Next season. Where do you think we will finish?

Pretty slick, UPPERLOFTNZ. But no 'Four Seasons in One Day' in the set?

Not the best cover ever, but there's something about Lemmy doing the Trooper that just feels... right

Will you still love me tomorrow by Amy Winehouse very good (appreciate she isn't everyone's cup of tea)

Also Shakira singing All of me on Jools Holland is excellent, although sadly I don't know how to post that here, perhaps a kind soul may oblige...
