I know they "keep us running", but I'm afraid incompetence of this level shouldn't be tolerated especially when ST holders are paying 700+ for the privilege.
There's one long running theme of massive underachievement at QPR in recent years and it's he owners we have. They need to go. They are not fit for purpose and they cannot be trusted to put people in place. If Nourry is sacked is the direction ever going to improve? They've had 10 years to learn how to do it. You think by now you'd have learned something.
I think sacking Marti would be a death knell for this ownership. You can't keep papering over failure.
Had my wallet pinched Friday & wondering what the procedure is (if any?) for replacing my Season Ticket? I've contacted the box office but with it being Bank Holiday weekend haven't yet got anything back. Anyone been through this & know what you can do?
Know there is only two games left but would ideally like to do both even if tomorrow is now a longshot..
Apparently the fixtures are out on Wednesday (WTF?)
Who do we want on the opening day? Think we've had it pretty good the last few years, can't actually remember the last time we were away on the first day?
Ideal would be Rotherham or somebody at home. You just know it'll be this year with Hull away.
Grimsby latest club to put wheels in motion. What does everyone think of this? If TF's house of cards collapses how easy would it be to put standing back in parts of LR?
If we were to bring him in, is he any better than Hoilett? I always thought he was a winger, notice he's been given the no.10 shirt at Wolves and is 6ft?
Would love Redknapp to admit that he's lost as appetite, as he should have done after Wembley, and then he can walk his dogs as many times as he wants.
One of the most frustrating games I've been to in a long while. Even though it's the cup and it doesn't really matter we should have gone for it as Swindon looked shaky when we attacked them in the final 30 minutes.
Far too much time was spent fannying about with the ball. We're not good enough to knock it round the back and slowly build possesion. The wings were often neglected and players ran in to traffic in the middle. The players generally looked like they couldn't be arsed and it was a embarrassing display from a pretty much full strength XI. There was no shape and a few players looked like they didn't really know where they were supposed to be playing
A few observations:
- Zamora is crocked. League or cup it doesn't change the fact he's past it. - Austin desperetaly needs a goal to boost confidence. He should have netted and when he did it was disallowed. Lost interest with 15 minutes to go. - Barton and Henry are integral to the midfield. Jenas had a poor game and didn't hold the midfield together very well. - Faurlin and Diakite looked like they were in the last chance saloon. Neither covered themselves in glory with their performances, and wouldn't be surprised if one or both were out the door before the window slams shut.
At the end of the day it's only a meaningless game, but the team should have tried for those of us that did go. Overall, a poor day but I'm sure confidence won't be effected as they didn't really seem to care whether they won or lost.
