| Forum Thread | Hill's post Torquay at 17:05 18 Feb 2013
"99 league victories that now..." Satisfied with the result. Thought we were solid other than the mistake SCS made early doors. Glad we got the clean sheet. "Match winning save from Josh. 2 clean sheets from 4 that ratio will help us be suscessful" "massive difference from being awarded a man of the match and putting in a man of the match performance, today was the later from Rhys." "Alot of psychological encouragement with us adding players, competition for places. If we have the right players with the right attitude we will be sucessful, thats what we are trying to create... dont want to give much of the plan away because I've got a board meeting on monday" "I'm enjoying it, I'm enjoying my home life, I'm back in football, I've had a massive learning curve. I must admit I miss the championship football but I dont doubt that I'll be back there, hopefully we can do that with Rochdale" "we can be better, we've got to be better. Lets just get to the finish line then we can really start building for the future." |

Anyone driving to the game tomorrow might want to avoid spotland bridge. Road works just at the roundabout, might be gone but just as a warning can see it backing up abit. |

Basically for those of you who haven't got it. Fans have been great for the players recently, feeding of the fans and starting to identify with the players. Afew enquiries for players, nothing concrete.... Ryan Edwards will have to wait and see what happens with him for now he is back with Blackburn and they want to take a look at him [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

If you had to change the formation and starting line up what would you do? As a further point what do we need in Jan? for me Lillis Rafferty Bennett Pdot Kmac Tutte JK Putterill Grant Grimes Gornell Obviously thats if we had Terry G long term. Fecking hell, spent ages lining up the formation and its gone in a straight fecking line!! 4 4 2 with grimes just behind TG [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

They've done this alot on Talksport at the minute, what with the ginger whingers team looking like getting relagated. He claims he would rather Posh went down playing nice footy over playing direct winning footy such as stoke. What would you rather? |

Thinks we've gone down because we haven't had an away win since hes come in. Embarrassed with getting nothing from this game. Feels Edwards should have saved the first. Fans fantastic. Concerned with away record, even goes as far as saying its sickening. Defending the last ten mins atrocious. All in all a very miffed looking Coleman. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

| Forum Thread | Not footy related (self assesment help) at 19:45 17 Jan 2012
Basically what it is, I went self employed to ensure I completed my apprenticeship as work had dried up (funny in the plumbing game). Ive now been employed for 2 years, cards in. Last year I got a fine and a rollocking for not doing my self assesment. So I did it, rang them and said look im no longer self employed yadda yadda. Low and behold I've got another letter through saying I need to do my self assesment? What do I need to do to get em to feck right off? Or will they keep sending (and possibly fining) until they see fit? I got a rebate last year for when I was on emergency code when I had been employed. Havent got a clue about tax etc so any help would be appreciated. |

Just thought I'd put up abit about what he's said. Always thought Beech would go far in management, knows he's got a burning desire. Knows him well, and wouldn't be here unless it was for Beech. Says he's got other things going on 'outside of this window' but its on hold over the christmas period and if it becomes permanent he will have to have a real think about it, not sure what that is. Really enjoying being here and loves being back in the coaching side of things. Saw us play twice this year, we won both times. Then moves on to talk about Preston and the managers/coaches he's played/worked under. Beck, Big Sam, Moyes to name afew. Talks about how he was at Preston while they were growing. Extremely proud to be part of that. Talks about how the at the top managers just keep it simple and make sure the players know there jobs, if we can do this we will get more results. Says if we can get the transition from training to match day we will get out of this problem. "More than confident" of doing what needs to be done, draws are good, but we want to hurt teams. All in all a good interview, good to learn abit more about him. Seems a very confident bloke proud of his previous achievements. |

If Eyre was to go and if Frankie was to stay, does his name go into the hat? Add to that his backroom staff. Do they also need to be paid off? [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

| Forum Thread | What would it take... at 07:55 8 Nov 2011
So, there's a lot of people loosinglost faith with the current regime. What I was wondering was; What would it take for Eyre and co to win you over again? Afew wins and draws and losses but with the team battling? Would you still be sceptical if we went on a unbeaten run until the end of the season? Just want to see how much it would take to see what they'd have to do to win people over, if at all. |
