Sincere condolences to Keith and his family at this sad time. Sure he would be immensely proud of what his son has and is achieving at the Dale. |

Agree with you 442 that simplicity is key. Also I like the idea that there would be some form of rebate depending on the numbers sold - start them at 200, and then once we hit certain milestones (e.g. 2000) fans who have bought start to become entitled to rebates. Shouldn't affect the club's income if calibrated properly and incentivizes people to buy. |

That record is unvelievable. Reading that really brings home Hilly's record. Esp given how the best we'd had in decades before that was the play off semi final against Rushden. And to come back and rebuild the squad again after leaving - amazing achievement. Baldy Mourinho needs a statue in his Honour outside Spotland! |
| Forum Reply | Great away support at 04:38 17 Oct 2016
An impressive 3564 home supporters in that case - probably the most we've had for a while in a league game. |

Cheers, Lama! As I don't get to many games its nigh on impossible to Guess given Hillys ability to get players playing everywhere on the park! |

For an exile who couldn't make it last night - what formation did we line up in, and who played where? Thanks in advance! |
| Forum Reply | He signs when he wants at 18:32 9 May 2016
To be fair, he pops up with the odd important goal (winner on Sat, goals v Bradford, Port Value and Coventry (I think)) and is a good weapon if deployed correctly - something different. Also seems to be scoring moree regularly than he ever has in his career so I think it's fair of him to say KH gets the best out of him! Hopefully he can push on next season and have more consistent impact. |

In my opinion that is irrelevant vis a vis whether on that night she was raped by aches Evans. Might say something about her character and might bring into question how affected she was by it but would she seriously go through the ordeal of a trial just to sell a false story? She could have got paid for saying she slept with a 'love rat footballer' if there was that little to it. |

Fantastic news. I don't care if he's now absolutely shite, he's a Dale legend and my favourite Dale player of all time. |
| Forum Reply | Hilly's View! at 14:32 20 Dec 2015
Have any of the Chelsea directors or management team come out and had a go at the fans after yesterday? Harping on about a divide between players and supporters, playing an inferior brand of football to what Hilly's "philosophy" is (in my opinion - sorry Hilly for having one and sorry, but in my opinion we HAVE been inferior to last season - why is that?) and selling players without replacing them (despite assurances to the contrary) is the reason for there being any divide - it's actually the club's fault! The club needs to look closer to home - the director patronising us to support the players again in the bar after the game...seriously, p*ss off, we turned up to support them, always will. the players were like rats up drainpipes in leaving the "players" lounge last night. Mr Dunphy should come out and clarify: 1. Hilly's comments 2. The "philosphy" - is it to actually reinvest? Or just take all hte money off the table into a black hole? The Dawson, Buckley, COG, Lambert money for example. 3. Status of the ground purchase - I mean FFS, how long can one deal take? And why are we always kept in the dark? 4. Whether the club will ever have ambitions of getting promoted? Selling Done when we were playing great football and on the cusp of the play offs to a play off rival, coupled with the comments about us not being ready for the championship stank, and IMO are why people are now staying away. We've settled. |

I have already whinged on a second thread but I for one am glad I didn't have to pay to watch that. We seemed to have no plan, there was none of the "no fear approach" and it is concerning that we didn't carve out a single chance in the second half. No idea what our strategy was. Ratings: Perreira: 6 - made a good save against clarke, Lillis must be wondering what on earth he's done wrong. Bennett - 5 - Booked, gave the ball away several times, pretty innocuous. No threat going forward at all. Lancashire 6 - reasonably solid if not spectacular. Clearly something is wrong given number of set pieces being conceded - if not McNulty - see Lancashire. Tanser - 5 - Couldn't beat his man, lost Rose for the goal. Doesn't look the same player he was when he first came into the side last year. Camps - 5 - largely innocuous. McDermott - 7 - actually created a few chances until Hilly took him off and killed the game. O'Sullivan - 6 probably not match fit. Largely innocuous. Henderson - 6 - battled reasonably well and carved out one chance. Andrew - 7 - did pretty well in winning headers but come on - this man is clearly not going to get us many goals. Overall strategy seems to be to lump it to him and hope for the best. Can't even be bothered to write about the subs - all get 6. |

Completely bypassing the midfield at present, hoofing up to Andrew and Vincenti. Really hard o watch - this is not the type of football we are used to under Hilly. |
| Forum Reply | Farcical defending of corners at 12:53 6 Dec 2015
It's hugely frustrating as we don't deserve to be going in at half time losing, but just keep shooting ourselves in the foot. Anyone have any stats for how many we have conceded from set plays this season? We are giving ourselves a mountain to climb each time by having to come back from behind even when we're playing well in open play. |
| Forum Thread | Farcical defending of corners at 12:40 6 Dec 2015
We could have conceded four goals from corners so far today...this needs sorting out and has done for some time. Why do we look so weak in this area? It's getting to the point where we need to avoid conceding corners full stop.... |
| Forum Reply | Match thread at 17:03 10 Oct 2015
Crumbs of comfort. We need to sort this defence out, starting with the goalkeeper, then the men's in front of him, as soon as possible. It's getting predictable. |

'Clueless Keith' - get a grip man. |
| Forum Reply | Match thread at 16:44 10 Oct 2015
Barely even got excited at or second equaliser. Having seen us at milleall, felt this was coming. Shipping far far too many goals at the moment. Needs to be sorted. 11 in last 4 league games I think. |
| Forum Reply | Peter Vincenti at 00:28 3 Oct 2015
Took a mate to the Millwall game who asked who our best player was. I instantly said Hendo. Actually, Peter V has a huge claim - so often overlooked but so often also pops up with a truly vital goal! Already one of our best ever players for me given the era. |
| Forum Reply | Pre-Millwall watering hole at 13:48 25 Sep 2015
Very much looking forward to this one - hopefully should be a good number of Daleys given we haven't played them for so long. Have a bad feeling given they have been tonked at home so many times this season - due a win - hope I am wrong! |
