Showed respectful support in aid of Reece making a fast recovery and a get well soon message on Twitter. If anyone could link it up? Nice to see the big names respecting the game, and the young lads around football. Much respect to him |

Can anyone who went to the game give us an insight of how the lad went on. Really over the moon for him! |

| Forum Thread | Nicky Adams?! at 16:40 23 Jan 2012
Ok, I've heard a few rumours of Adams going back to Bury which to be quite frank, are laughable. But, I've heard twice today that Nicky could be on his way to Tranmere. New to anybody else? Please, enlighten me. Adams is the kind of player, we need to be holding onto at the club. Nothing special but he can do the job, and the crosses we eventually get into the area are generated from Nicky himself. Not only that, I'd hate to see him make a backwards move. Tranmere are on the same wave length as us & no matter what, I like to see Dale lads going forward. |
| Forum Thread | We start from now. at 16:13 23 Jan 2012
As far as I'm concerned, 16:03 is the start of August again. Lets kick on from tomorrow morning in training and start playing with pride and passion. The last couple of months have been hard to watch. We have been there through the good times, and we'll be there through the bad. In Coleman we have a, passionate, reliable, experienced wise head. From the word go, he'll have the lads thriving to score and make something of this season! Lets not forget, it's going to be a bloody tough ride. But it's not one we can't overturn. We have some top players within the squad but unfortunately we've not had the quality out of them since Bury away. Maybe, we can regroup against them on Saturday. Lets reunite & get behind Coleman & Co from the whistle, come 3pm. The way I see it, we can't really get any worse than we have been of late. Special mention to Beech and Kidd. They've had the balls to step up to the plate but unfortunately for them, the plate was too big. Thanks a lot lads, & good luck to Chris whether his future holds here at Rochdale or elsewhere! John Coleman's Barmy Army! |

Allegedly, he signed and put pen to paper around 2pm. Just been told, they are awaiting on Accrington to come out with the official news first. Most probably so their fans are aware. Only fair really. Must be a respect thing. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Just read a few comments on the thread about Beech staying Inthenet posted. A few posters having a dig at Beech? Okay, Beech hasn't raised it in his short time in charge. But the most he deserves is 100% respect if Saturday is his last game in charge. He was given the chance, but unfortunately couldn't take it with both hands. This man has been our Youth Team manager for some time now, and has made excellent progress with the lads. Beech could be a main successor in the future of this club, with certain players that are rapidly making a name for themselves here. I'd love him to stay part of the club - But somehow I don't see it. Call it humble pie, but i'd call it looking further and learning the trade. He's now had a taste of management, and I'd be surprised if he makes a U turn and goes back to Youth level. If Coleman becomes Dale manager, then best of luck with the future Beechy. Thanks Chris. |

Totally agree with some of the posts about getting shut of certain loan players. As good Bogdanovic and Ormerod are, I don't think they are the resolution. We need our own blood in the team, having a striking duo of whom aren't our players sums our managerial problems up simply. We have players such as Grimes and Tutte who aren't getting in the match day squad because loan players are chose over them. We need fight and passion - of our own players! Players that are contracted to our club, that are being paid by our club. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

2 goals today - would think he's just scored the winner. Good to see ex Daleys doing well. |
| Forum Thread | Coleman tomorrow at 21:30 19 Jan 2012
Heard today from someone very close to the club, Coleman was in Dunphy's office this afternoon. The source, didn't say if he had rejected Rochdale or for that matter accepted, but he did go onto say - Coleman is expected back in the office tomorrow 2pm. At first, I laughed the 'back in the office tomorrow' off. But after a good think, It could happen. To be honest, I'd love Coleman. But I'd also love to see Beech given a good old shot. Massive risk, if we want to maintain League One status. But why not?! I think he has what it takes; Not everybody does. - I didn't post this to be slated, or whatever! Just sharing info that I've been told. Anybody's views? [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

| Forum Thread | Advertise! - Now is the right time at 16:37 16 Jan 2012
Ok, this thread is probably the 1000th on advertising the club, to draw fans through the gates on a Saturday. I'm one of many, who are sick and tired of seeing these useless words over and over. But, I honestly feel now is the right time to start advertising Rochdale FC - People will ask, why? we are facing relegation; losing week in week out, no atmosphere and even the pies are going downhill! But, this a time when respectively the club should get everything they have, out there to the town! We have just had an amazing season, so close yet so far from reaching the Play Offs, aiming for a back to back promotion campaign. Seven months on, things have turned for the worse; fans falling out with the club, attendances dropping, management problems and sitting in relegation places. Now is the time for the club to grow a set, and get some hard graft in! Leaflets, advertisement boards, local papers, local shops, supermarkets and the list could go on. Now is the time, we need the fans to come in and support the lads that go out there with the shirt on, we love! It's that extra morale boost, for not only the players but the club and the town! I'm not going to go into depth about the situation with Manchester City & United because its pointless! But I hope people can understand where I'm coming from? If we are going to do it the hard way, lets do it with noise and surprises eh? We'll win this relegation battle, i'm telling ya! Starting tomorrow at Tranmere! Crede Signo! We are all in this together! |
| Forum Thread | The better team won. at 17:28 14 Jan 2012
No excuses. From the word go they wanted the fixture more than us. In fact, maybe for a couple of minutes before their first we might of been on top. In every department they was better than ourselves; every header, every tackle, every pass, every second ball. You name it Stevenage had it over us, apart from conceded goals. One positive to take from the game. Kurucz, made some fantastic saves tonight bar the first, didn't really see it. Was a credit to our club. People will disagree and people will agree. But why the hell was we chanting 'this is embarrassing' towards our own players? Yes, it was bloody embarrassing, but what's embarrassing was this moment of stupidity! The lads, didn't deserve any credit from today's game, but I don't think they deserved the embarrassment of mocking them. Like I said, some will agree with it, and some won't. Today was a day to forget, hopefully we can forget by getting 3 points on Tuesday! |
| Forum Thread | 1st defeat under Beech at 17:47 7 Jan 2012
But in the 2 weeks he's been in charge, he's made a lot more progress that Eyre did. Beech is still mopping up the mess Steve made in my eyes, and will be doing for the remainder of the season. It's going to be a bumpy ride towards the finish line but its not a ride we can't sustain! Hopefully and I strongly believe, the progress he's made will start to pay off, unfortunately for Chris it needs to be ASAP! Lets get behind Beech and the lads. I for one have 100% faith. |

| Forum Thread | Liverpool fans. Scum. at 00:09 7 Jan 2012
Racially abusing Oldham's, Tom Adeyemi in tonight's game. Which really disgruntled the young lad and brought him to tears. Gerrard, Kuyt and the referee had to calm him down. This isn't my main point. I was reading on a Liverpool forum, a few post from the incident. Is it me, or are scousers just cold blooded without an heart? All they was concerned about, was not to give the media anything to jump on them with. Or as one poster said, "They are just trying to put everything on us, It's always us". Even better, the two lads who, and I will quote "allegedly" gave out the abuse, both was wearing the T-Shirts the Liverpool squad did two weeks ago, supporting the Suarez incident. Typical. The words they shouted, have been reported by one of their own fans. "You f**king black bastard!" Disgraceful. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

| Forum Thread | Bogdanovic celebration at 16:25 2 Jan 2012
Did anybody else see how much that goal meant to him today? After his celebration, he gave a massive fist pump to the TDS and if my lip reading skills are correct then he shouted "F**king yeah, Get in there?" He was purely motivated today! & The more we get behind the lad the better! Got a feeling he's going to get a lot of goals! His other attributes can only be positives to this battle. His hold up play etc.. Fantastic signing, plain and simple! |
