If Starmer gets in will non Labour voters (last election) vote for him ? on 23:08 - Apr 3 by Catullus | The CPS......hasn't the CPS been in a proper state for ages, not charging serious criminals because it wasn't in the public interest but then prosecuting innocent people on the flimsiest of evidence....was that Starmers time? |
I would imagine they are in as much shit as most govt agencies, underfunded etc.

You could have just stopped after leader.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I thought that was bizarre too. Hopefully that was the dying breath of the Corbyn organisation, totally at odds with the real world as usual, and things will start being done differently from now on, including PR and communication. If I was Starmer and someone had instructed me to do that, my reply would have been "don't be so feckin stupid", followed by "what's your name? Do you know where the dole office is?". People think they are better than they really are, they get fed sh!t by the media and believe it, there isn't much of a caring nature in this country, I work in the emergency services and work with like minded caring people, that's why we do these jobs and we see the selfishness that the average person doesnt. So my comments arent patronising, they are the truth. One positive thing to come from the coronavirus is that people are showing their caring nature, I just hope that after this sh!t is over with the caring carrys on but i seriously doubt it.

If Starmers attention to detail is anywhere near as acute as they say it is then this time they’ll definitely find the weapons of mass destruction.

Fireboy is spot on. On the whole Britain is controlled by the media. Start watching the foreign news channels and see how differently things are. The BBC news presenters are so stiff and upper class that you can hear them squirm in their seats when they interview anyone working class. The air of presumed "I'm better than you" a majority of them have is plain to see. Watch CNN, sky news (stephen dixon) even....they actually speak and show emotion. Not the awkward or forced laughs of Naga munchetty, Dan walker, et al

Len will be utter. Stamer's first job is to get shot of all the hard line left wingers that got the party into this mess in the first place. Not an easy task but the Party needs a root and branch overhaul. There are some very capable people in the party and it is their time now after the shambles that we have had in recent times.
