| Forum Thread | Johnny Walker retiring at 21:41 6 Oct 2024
The great Johnny Walker announced today he will be standing down from his Radio 2 ahows at the end of this month. Enjoyed his Radio 1 show back in my teens when he played some great music he introduced us to the Eagles. Met him just before covid struck a down to earth guy..did a great live sounds of the 70s night with a band all of which werent born then. He had some great stories which he couldnt sahre on air ...the guy is dieing sadly. He will be much missed but his Sunday shownid being taken over by anothet great "whispering" Bob Harris who has roots in Pontardawe. |

| Forum Thread | when was the last time at 10:00 2 Apr 2024
we witnessed a game without a yellow card being shown. I'm sure yesterdays ref had left his at home. His lack of bookings didn't help us against a physical QPR I can't believe there was no booking for the blatant push on Yates when he was through |
| Forum Thread | compo for Martin at 08:45 3 Mar 2024
is there any update on this? Haven't seen anything myself...the suspicious of us could wonder is that where the new £2.5m investment has come from |
| Forum Thread | what difference does a year make? at 18:16 1 Jan 2024
Well this time last year we were 15th on 35 points today we are 16th with 32 points. So despite losing out talisman goal scorer ,and ditching our manager a month ago we are not really miles away from last season which was the second of the then managers reign and 1 and a half seasons into his process. Yes we are manager less but in terms of league position and points we are not really that far behind where we found ourselves this time last season. So are things on the pitch as bad as many state |

I see the club has announced that safe standing areas will be installed in the stadium for next season....Apologies to Martin Morgan I should have said the Swansea.com |
| Forum Thread | Why is it managers cant see what we fans see at 21:12 28 Aug 2023
I have begun to wonder why it is managers seem not to be able to spot the issues in a team that we fans see such as the unbalanced midfield with Grimes and Fulton, five at the back for example. This seems to be not unique to Duff as these things were highlighted under Martin too and over the years many of our mamagers even before the advent of the Internet had critique by fans of things not right in the team. Surely if us "amateurs " can see this why dont the "pros" |

| Forum Thread | Are we progressing under Russ? at 09:46 3 Apr 2023
Ok we are now well into Russ's second season and much debate still abounds around his ability so are we progressing or regressing is the question? Finished 15th last season currently sit 15th so no change there it seems though the barometer for Russy is his success in the derby....now a double doube....but this season we only beat 10 men at home 2nil whilst last season we beat an eleven man Cardiff 3 nil then away from home we scrapped a late winner up there after giving away a 2 goal lead having beaten then 4nil up there last season.....Progress? |
| Forum Thread | Who would replace our current owners? at 10:29 5 Feb 2023
Many shouts of get out of our club yesterday and many comments on here Dont get me wrong I'm no lover of the current owners but they have put money into the club backed Martin with the purchase of Fisher and Darling....what great signings they turned out to be. We are in a fairly decent state financially compared with other clubs in this division and when you look at our cousins up the road which would you rather. When it is suggested our manager is replaced the question is raised so who will come which will replace him so I ask those who are demanding the removal of Steve,,Jason ,Jake et al who will sweep in and buy us and throw money at us? |
| Forum Thread | Saturdays line up without Grimes? at 20:54 2 Nov 2022

| Forum Thread | The bigger picture at 13:38 29 Aug 2022
Lots of talk re the manager owners and who is to blame what worries me more is the bigger picture and the end game The current owners bought a Premier League club with the “fortunes” it can bring.Unfortunately for them it seems they were sold a pup as we fell from the top table quickly after them buying us Much has been written on here about entitlement of fans and how many will be happy in the Championship. what is missed is will the owners be happy with that the money is made in the PL . Currently we are a struggling Championship side if we don’t sort things out we could find ourselves in Lg1 .Despite this squad being better than relegation fodder and the protestations from some on here we won’t go down it can happen which begs the question what will the owners do then? Will they call in the loans rather than convert liquidate the club? We need to get back to the PL if only for the current owners to sell us on. We no longer have owners or senior officials at the club with emotional attachment as we did back in the days of Struel and Sharpe…and even Doug attempted to have a more business like approach when he could see what the personal financial input would need to be. We are back to the days of Silver Shield/ninth floor who had Steve Hamer a swans fan connected but their involvement was connecting to commercial development associated with the new stadium once the council pu paid to that they soon departed leaving us with the Petty fiasco only for us to be rescued and told by the later sellouts this rescue would mean we would never see this again ….we’ll buckle up folks history could yet be repeated but this time I doubt there will be the chance of a rescue . We are in troubled waters for sure |
| Forum Thread | So what next at 14:18 28 Aug 2022
So what happens now? I think most are agreed that Martins time is up It seems though the club will not sack him due to our finances Many are confident we will avoid relegation how can they be so sure how can other s be sure sure we will Does Martin have it in him to turn things around Are the players still on board Something needs to be done |
| Forum Thread | what a great man manager at 06:37 10 Aug 2022
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/angry-russell-martin- Again takes no blame directing it elsewhere really good man management...he made the changes not only on personnel but formation as Jasper mentioned elsewhere we have a young midfielder being asked to play out of position on his debut...... Martin is a liability I'm sure the players will be very motivated to work for him after that I hope Joey is knocking on his door telling him a few home truths |
