The amount of work that must have gone into putting this rescue mission together you would have to be daft not to think increasing revenue and reviewing running costs have not been discussed at great length already. I would not expect too many announcements now until the new year.

All change at Companies House today, including a couple of new directors who haven't been mentioned before.

At least our new owners have a plan unlike the last lot who had little or no interest in the Club, they won't be missed.

Makes sense to me. You can do your transfer business early as the players report back beginning of July and player contracts run until 31st June. You still then still have the January transfer window in the same financial year. I'm sure it was this date before the last lot changed it.

Scroll down to the highlighted area. Seems the date depends on the club.

Financial Year
Companies have absolute discretion in selecting their financial year. However, because football clubs’ activities are measured by season it is recommended that, unless there are important overriding reasons to select a different financial year end, clubs should opt for 30 June or, conceivably, either 31 May or 31 July.

In this way their main sources of income (season ticket, commercial, central distributions) and principal costs (playing contracts) are likely to be aligned with the financial year.

Started well these guys, seem to have their heads screwed on ready to move forward with proper organisation, marked difference to the last lot who were just expecting the Dollars to roll in, two Pettys rolled into one.

Another 'Max special' I have to respond to.

Kaplan and Levien had a plan and it was to expand the stadium and stay in the Premier league by utilising the excellent in- house team including Jenkins and Morgan who stayed on as directors.

Levien had done similar thing at DC United raising the value of club massively. Had it worked a big stadium naming right would have been signed with Audi perhaps as Levien knows their people.

K&L have done the new owners a big favour in g handing the club over cheaply which gives them the best chance to return to the premier league. K&L will be wanting Swanse to do well to recover half of their 2016 investment.

Your comparison with Petty is typically disrespectful and exposes your complete lack of judgement. Petty invested very little but still demanded more than K&L off the new board (in 2002) to leave.

Levien has handed over the club for pennies to new owners and said "pay me back $50m if you stay in the Premier league for 4 seasons".

Fans should be writing him a thank you note stepping aside. They sadly do not have the fibre to do this. Neither do the Trust fearful of the reaction .

Sometimes people just have to do what is right and not worry about fear or the reaction of others.

Kaplan and Levien have done nothing for Swansea except fail miserably. They offloaded the club for $3,000 because nobody else would take it off them because of the state they have reduced the club to. They are gone and you are the only person to have anything good to say about them. Think on that and the reasons behind it.

Edit after your edit.

It would be a maximum of $40M not $50M.

I’m not normally one to shy away from a confrontation or a possible unpleasant exchange or ten but in the case of the aforementioned wonders ,it’s best option to do just that l
Are they literally history now?
Are they still attached to our club in sone way ?
We need a football enema after them
Reading the Indys analysis on them got me rather wound up so I’ve been told by wifey to chill and butt out of anymore discussion on them

Take no notice Whitey, not worth the effort, just an insignificant attention seeking troller.

Anyway! It now seems like we at last got someone with the vision and the financial backing to move the club forward, reading between the lines it seems like he couldn't wait to get rid of the both of them.

Coleman seems to have embraced the Club and the City, attends games with his children and seems ambitious, I;m expecting a bit of a slow and steady improvement in the clubs fortunes off and on the field, without the dollar signs in his eyes.

Has for the last pair

GOOD RIDDANCE!

£40 million over 4 seasons I read. For your information £40m is $51m roughly at a conversion of $1.28 that I got in the Summer.

Take care of the denominations it can cost.

I am clear why I give thanks. I am a decent fellow.

Think about it. They could have not sold and simply asset stripped and put the club into administration. They did not do this as they have a reputation to protect with people who have clout.
