As poor as we were in he first half we should have won that game in the second.

Very frustrating.

Absolutely. Missed chances again. Simple as that.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

stop using stats Cat they mean nothing

Yes as was predicted once he got some breathing space Russ reverts to type surely now people can see what this guy is doing to our club

He has no clue!

What those stats show is the team with 28% of the ball had as many shots on target as us from far fewer shots over all.

Having the majority of possession does not (by itself) win games. We had 2.5 times their possession, in shots terms, to match them we would have had 23 shots, 10 on target, we got nowhere near that.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

because we have a mid table manager

The players have to show far more intent than they did tonight. We didn’t look like a team who wanted to win the game

Im with you have been saying this for well over a year been shouted down for it

+Russ now he has had some repsite has reverted back to his way away from the style that got us our of the relegation zone and the best run of form during his tenure here

But I dont have a clue Im biased apparantly a muppet not a proper fan

The only stat that matters is the score and we lost....we take it on the chin, we cant win them all and now we move on.

We have won games with 70% and won with 30%, lost games with 70% and lost with 30%.

Games are won on a pitch not a piece of paper......we will lose games! If you want to support a team who wins every game with a perfect manager then get on your bikes and look for one.........you will be looking for a very long time.

Yes we lost agin due to the managers team selection and tactics

This os called football visionary is ruining our club

Funny so many of us said that once he got some breathing space he would revert to plan A

it is no surprise that this is what we are seeing
Cooper ahs scored 3 goals in 5 games whenever he starts we look better he made a difference when he came on tonight so why not start him.

Is this about Swansea City or about you and others being correct?

Its an open book, we can't play the same in every game........some times the opposition don't allow us, players have an off day, the list is endless.

We are 6th in the league.......i really don't understand what you and others want!?

Its clear that it's becoming a personal obsession with you and others.........i suggest you find peace and realise that the grass isn't going to always be green and we will lose games and things are not always going to be perfect.....that's life.

We lost tonight but we are in a terrific place with a good young manager with a young squad of players who are on the whole doing a terrific job all things considered......there really doesn't need to be near as much negativity as you and others seem to enjoy creating on here.

Weare not perfect, we will not win every game but we are 6th.......lets take the reality into account.

Not a personal obsession its about the club

We git to be 6th in the league because we began to play a different way at a time we were in the relegation area now we have "escaped" that and have flirted with the play off zone it seems we re reverteting to a style of play whihc has shown itself not to be successful not only here for 18 moths but for one and a half seasons on Lg1 at aanother club

I think the description of a good young manager is alittle over used

The issue is Martin is reverting to type yet you cant see it....yes Im happy with 6th but Im looking at the bigger picture I doubt we will still be there come Christmas unless Russ reverts to plan B

Unfortunately now RM is not facing an imminent sacking after a good run of results he seems to have defaulted back to possession-at-all-costs Martinball Mk 1. Strange as you would think he would be able to recognise that Martinball Mk 2 is better.

We are 6th.......the table doesn't y lie and the manager deserves to take the flack and deserves the praise.

We are 6th, Martin is the manager so we play his style regardless if you like it or accept it.

The hate towards him is because the anger you feel for other posters views and opinions regards Steve Cooper.

Not at all I could say the same about those who have a MArtin lvein because they were so anti Cooper

OHL is very anti Martin as he was Cooper

I have no hate towards Martin...that is a great statement as many hated Cooper due to his Cardiff roots and his dad
s
My posts tonight are as a result of a poor team selection and tactics dictated by Martins deisre to rtevert to his plan A....
Yes we are 6th but only because we changed how we played....now he has breathing space suoer Russ has reverted to type

If you dont want see that fair enough
Leys see where we finish ....funny how people didnt accept Coopers style when he was manager and got us to the play offsin succesive season

The silence has been deafening since Burnley, the irrational dislike of Martin is baffling.

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game
