This won’t be mentioned by the spineless ones who continue to attack this site, on other sites.
However, we left the site on very light moderation over the weekend and within hours posts were made which were offensive, and of course as soon as the network and myself saw them there were bans and the offensive remarks removed.
The issue we have noted on this site unlike the others that allow attacks on this one is we have thousands of views every day. They don’t, they struggle with content and creativity to report football news. And the few dissenters who are banned from here will always look for negativity. They are spineless and cowardly of course, we have proven that time and time again. I personally have removed posts connected to these imbeciles with other usernames as well. What is going on to a major extent is offensive posts are being made on here then the same morons pop up elsewhere and start undermining this site using the posts as justification. It really is pathetic.
That of course and the few idiots on here who ‘resurrect’ themselves in other forms.
We will continue, we won’t be stopped by these very few individuals. This year already I have offered these small minded idiots to talk over their personal issues via Twitter. I have also given clear instructions as to where I am personally and within a few hundred yards of where they are. Of course as you would expect they don’t show up and continue to undermine us at every opportunity. Even opportunities that they themselves instigate. That’s the hilarious part of all this.
All I will say at this moment in time is It’s all being noted, and it’s all being logged, and we continue to be Swansea Independent.

I know I had a moan on a thread earlier, but could I respectfully ask that the small number of posters (on both sides of discussions) who continually refer to large swathes of the population ‘scum’ stop.

For the life of me,I cannot find any reason to hammer this site.
It really is a case of us being Welsh and having a natural inclination to bitch at each other .
I have to choose my words carefully,having been banned myself although that was not for hammering this site like a coward .
We have a history of inter necine spats . It’s what embarrasses myself being welsh.

I used to look at what is posted on PS and there is more leeway on there for profanity etc. I miss that but Keith s site sees less hate ,normally.

This site is the best one available, no doubt about that.
The moderation can be improved significantly though and have been open about my feelings on that. The continuous trolling allowed by a few on here is just bizarre.
Some appear to be completely protected from abuse, others not protected in the slightest. I would say for the site to really progress - that is the area it needs strengthening in next as it is keeping some valuable contributors away, especially when the site is against online bullying and victimization.
Everyone needs to be treated the same and given the same protections - and the rules need to apply to everyone to exactly the same degree... at the moment that is a long way off reality. But I'm sure ownership recognise that and working to strengthen in that area.
In terms of debate, discussion and news though, there is no better. [Post edited 16 Jun 2022 6:50]
