Watch Sheffield United v Swansea City LIVE today for free ! on 13:23 - May 4 with 1161 views | jasper_T | Jimiel Chikukwa (Leeds) up front one of the trialists? Nicolas Defreitas-Hansen (Everton) in goal? Going by the commentary, not seen a teamsheet. 11 looks tidy (Leverit?). Adebayo at centre half. Abdulawe 4 holding mid. [Post edited 4 May 2021 13:33]

He really struggled first half but looks a bit brighter since swapping with Al-Hamadi and going wide (Ali looks better in the middle as well).

It did look men against boys at times, but Adebayo ? At the back looked very decent. 1-0 Swans FT.

Credit the centre backs. Jake Thomas looks like a young Alan Tate and Adebayo was very stong as you would expect with a name like that.

Thought he got caught out over the top a lot. Jake Thomas the better of the pair today, but Adebayo did get the assist and one great recovery block in late on. Don't think any of the trialists looked anything special but they're u18s players set to be released by their clubs, so they're hardly going to be world-beaters at u23s level. Dan Williams had a poor game by his standards, busy but his passing was off. Expect Gibbings, Thomas and Bevan to leave at the end of the season, not bad players but we don't have the patience we did in the PL. Al-Hamadi should get an extension, very rough around the edges but has the physique and pace to sway decision-makers to optimism about his potential. [Post edited 4 May 2021 15:15]

Watch Sheffield United v Swansea City LIVE today for free ! REPORT on 17:10 - May 4 with 909 views | KeithHaynes | Match report Coach Kris O’Leary believes Swansea City Under-23s’ victory over Professional Development League 2 North champions Sheffield United shows they are learning different ways to win games. The Swans claimed a third consecutive clean sheet as a fantastic defensive display shut out the division’s overall top scorers at Chesterfield’s Technique Stadium. A second-half goal from a trialist ensured O’Leary’s side made it just one defeat in nine games as they sealed a sixth win of the campaign. And the U23s coach felt his side’s latest display proves they are learning valuable lessons. “You win games in different ways, and this is a big lesson for our lads. They are getting stronger for it,” said O’Leary. “It’s a third clean sheet in a row, and that’s massive for these young lads. “Sheffield United are top scorers in the North and South, so it’s big positive for us to get another clean sheet. “They also won their division and are a strong side, so it was a different challenge for the boys. “We’ve always had to adapt at Swansea with the way we play, and keeping the ball away from the opposition. “Of course, we want to play football and win games, and sometimes you come up against different opposition with different styles, and that’s such a good way to learn for these players. “It was a very pleasing afternoon, and now we move quickly onto our next game.” The under-23s visit Colchester on Friday before wrapping up the season with a trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Monday.

Watch Sheffield United v Swansea City LIVE today for free ! on 17:16 - May 4 with 898 views | ReslovenSwan1 | The academy can get players playing the proper way try and improve exceution of the pass and move. This needs patience and a consistent teamsheet I would imagine. Good to see O'leary is adopting this style. Only 4 of the starters had come through the system. Beavn, Jake Thomas, Gibbins and Willaims. Cabango, Cullen and Ollie and Brandon are in the first team squad. I promote the Cooper boys and Cullen finding a summer loan somewhere to get games under their belt and return full of confidence. Use USA contacts or join Cameron Evans in Ireland perhaps. I have not heard anything of Josh Thomas or Blake at Cardiff Met. Hats off the the Commentator. A serious mark up on the Swans TV team in my view. [Post edited 4 May 2021 17:18]
