| Forum Thread | Cathcart the latest to have a pop! at 14:30 1 Jun 2015
Blackpool's nosedive into turmoil has come as no surprise to former defender Craig Cathcart, who believes the writing has been on the wall for some time. Cathcart left Bloomfield Road at the end of last season following four years with the Seasiders, during which time he played in the Barclays Premier League and reached a Championship play-off final. But by the time he departed for Watford they had barely survived in the second tier and Cathcart was not stunned to see them slip out of the top two divisions last term. The Seasiders' problems go way beyond their on-field fortunes - with no manager and only seven players currently in place and an unpopular chairman at loggerheads with both his own supporters and boardroom members - and Cathcart is saddened by their current plight. "To be honest, you could see it coming over the years," the Northern Ireland international said. " The first two years I was there we got relegated (from the Premier League) by a point, the following year we got to the play-off final and from then on we seemed to let our best players leave on a free and we couldn't really replace them. "It's obviously concluded with what's happened there now. It's a difficult time for Blackpool but hopefully they'll bounce back." |

| Forum Thread | o/t Now the Play Offs are over .. Plans for Summer everyone? at 16:48 25 May 2015
Looking forward to three of my favourite summer events Glastonbury, Wimbledon and the fixtures release date (yes am a bit sad), couple of weeks in Cornwall, having a patio fitted and plan to turn of from events at Bloomfield Road (fixture list aside) and hope we have something to cheer about in August! |
| Forum Thread | Who could be our next Kevin Phillips? at 11:48 21 May 2015
Who is that player with bags of experience who could come in to our side at League One level and make a real impact? A sort of Jon Stead at Bradford character? |
| Forum Thread | Nile Ranger theory at 10:22 20 May 2015
Didn't Ollie want to buy Ranger for £1.8 million - wonder if he's coming back and wants him? |
| Forum Thread | Great opportunity for the new manager at 11:43 19 May 2015
Few will see it like this but what a great opportunity for a new manager to come in, have no deadwood and build the club up again from scratch. However Karl needs to get his are in gear and appoint this week! |
| Forum Thread | Congrats to Brizzle Rovers at 17:35 17 May 2015
Any side that gets over 10,000 in the Conference doesn't deserve to be a non-league side - interesting tactic to sub the goalkeeper for the penalties but glad for them that it paid off - decent season for Bristol sides. |

Nobbers 1-0 up - Beckford - couldn't see Chesterfield putting up much of a fight tbh |
| Forum Thread | Thanks for the Private Messages! at 16:12 5 May 2015
One area this site pisses over the other one is the way you can private message fellow members and just to say thanks to those who have been in touch about some of the comments I've made about the recent goings on at Bloomfield Road - all in support of what I've been saying but understandably not wanting to put their head above the parapet on this forum or the other. Seems to me there's an underlying growing dissatisfaction that way that some are dictating the direction that fans should take and the way they are towards the club. P.S. Feel free to PM me any thoughts - am big and ugly enough to take them all on board! [Post edited 5 May 2015 16:13]

| Forum Thread | The Neil Diamond Debate at 21:13 4 May 2015
I'd probably get my head ripped off if I joined in the Neil Diamond debate on the other forum but strikes me there's now a few out just to make trouble and to Hell with the consequences and who gets affected. If some want to disrupt the Neil Diamond concert - surely then they'd be outside the hotel every day, outside the Seasiders bar putting people off, telling people not to eat in Rowley's, trying to interfere with the many corporate meetings inside the ground, persuading parents not to drop their kids off at the Nursery etc etc etc Seems to me, those trying to disrupt the concert are just trying to make a name for themselves and not thinking of the overall direction of Blackpool FC |
