I would question his selection of Bree as the third centre back when Wood was available That said the starting eleven equipped themselves well and could have been more than one up at 80 minutes
The introduction of our subs disturbed the defence and some lost their focus Who knows but it may have been better to leave it alone but we don't know if anyone was carrying an injury At one time we had 3 defensive mid field players and a back 5
Tall Paul must now have proved that he is not upto it at this level

Actually more sad than disappointed. This was the most I had enjoyed watching Saints this season and with better finishing we would have been out of sight.
Juric is getting a tune out of Sulemana who looked the best player on the pitch until Amad stole that mantle. Also seems to have transformed Big Les and Aribo.
The substitutions were a disaster though and contributed to the collapse. MF seems critical to our set up.
Better days ahead!

Bowerclow, nothing wrong with Bree's game and he offered something going forward, which was part of the game plan. Nothing against Wood but Bree's performance didn't cost us the game.

Subs Downes, Smallbone and AA. What chance did we have with 8 men on the pitch?

Downes for me is too lightweight and slow and almost every match get caught out and resorts to pulling back the opponent and getting booked. Smallbone isn't much better. We just lost midfield when those two came on.
