Following the Rams away these days is better than taking a tonic to make you feel healthier. All the people I spoke to before the match had smiles on their faces and expected Derby to win, and sure enough we did. Although all the goals were scored at the opposite end of the ground they looked workmanlike and skilful, especially Dawkins goal which he slotted into the far corner with aplomb.

How many do you think we took? Talking to a Wiganer in a pub (Bricklayers Arms?) after the match and he thought 3,000. He added that we "gave 'em a good seein' to in the first half." [Post edited 2 Dec 2013 13:54]
