Not worth his own post

Craig Curran has agreed terms with Limerick to join the club on Monday once the window opens. He was on loan from Rochdale up to now

Don't blame him, fair play to the lad. Why take a contract with a southern team, when offered a contract near home?

Funny thing is, that picture is from Dale's game at Accrington, so the shirt he's wearing is our yellow one doctored on Photoshop.

He'll be playing for Juventus in a few years.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Fickle bury fans on twitter. I seem to remember when we've played them recently a lot of abuse was hurled at Grimes.

Now he's a 'top player' and a signing that could see them finish 2nd (behind Portsmouth of course). Apparently they're even having a promotion party at Morecambe.

they're absolutely desperate to try and turn something into something it's not. The propaganda has already started - from people who should know better. Even our very own Pdiddy is claiming that Grimes wanted out and it was a clash of personalities with Hill rather than the reality that he wasn't quite good enough for where we want to be. It's funny, given how he's been camped on here for the last two years, he'd have seen the same conversations repeatedly about Grimes and his work ethic.

But hey, if trying to make out they have one over on us masks the fact that they are owned by property developers and run by a guy with a proven track record for taking clubs into administration, then its done its job. It's a very cunning plan.

The bury fans ar right. There is a new chasm of hatred between our two clubs both on and off the pitch because "HE" has left Spotland and gone to "THEM".

Dale fans were falling over themselves to criticise Hill and the club when Grimes was released, he was a fans favourite, a hero to children, a legend amongst men.

Erm, well, kinda. Chaff was "slightly surprised" and Shun was "slightly sorry" to see him leave.

R17ALE and sweetcorn may of had a meeting of minds and wanted to carry him all the way to wherever he was going on their shoulders but as we all know, neither of them have the foggiest about football.

Below is a link for any perusing bury fan who wants to know what Dale fans thought about Grimes leaving at the time when he left, i.e. irresepective of the fact that he has joined you.

Be interesting to see how he does, on his day (although very very rare) he can be the difference. I was one of the very few on here who would always try to defend him but in the end it was right for him to go as it was evident he was never going to change. Don't blame him for staying up north as he's got a young family.
Very much a league 2 berbatov, not really what you need in a scrap which we were in whilst he was here, will that be different over at giggle?

How many times has he been relagated? Lincoln, us, possibly at millwall?

Grimes on 08:53 - Jun 28 with 8307 viewsR442D

"Former Manchester City , Millwall and Rochdale player Ashley Grimes has signed a two year deal with the Shakers.

Ashley had other offers to consider but after meeting with the manager decided to commit to the new regime here at Gigg lane.

Another quality player commits to the exciting times ahead."

What Bury think: "He's interested in sharing our vision for the future!"
What Grimes thought: "That's a good wage packet. I like money."

Yes, he's a good player, but to make such a fuss isn't worth it.
If he's not happy and playing, he's not part of the team, so how does he think he's going to cope with all these 'brilliant' players apparently coming in?

And if Hilly didn't fight for him, its surely telling you something.

But I've grown bored of all this 'revolution' and 'BuryAreBack' rubbish now.

If they go up -fine, but I'm more concerned about this club.
