I'm surprised that the Rooneys are still together to be honest, can't see money being an issue either because she must have plenty on him to be able to take him to the cleaners.

The Wagatha Case on 12:37 - Oct 11 with 982 views | majorraglan | It’s an obscene amount of money and the only winners are the lawyers. A number of years ago I attended a meeting where I spoke to solicitor who specialised in family disputes. His firm had represented 1 client in a dispute and the bill was over £500k, the other parties was even higher. Mental !!

To be fair R, unless at partner level, associate solicitors in a normal High St firm don’t get paid enough. They work very hard and take on a lot of responsibility. Get something wrong and their PI insurance goes up and up. And if you are a partner then you’ve got the burden if everything attached to the firm and for some years after selling up. I’m less familiar with barristers but pupils get next to nothing I’m led to believe and it takes time to build up from that stage.

Solicitors get well paid when established. Not unlike being trained for plumbing or electrician Barristers the same . Even a cursory look at their homes will tell you that

Well paid is subjective of course but not as much as they should given the responsibility level and hours put in. I do know as my wife is one. Couldn’t wait to get out of it which she did 2 years ago. Stress well beyond the norm. Now I’m the one under stress😂
