Sad news. Watched BBC documentary ‘Return To Turin - Italia 90’ about a week ago and Toto is interviewed and what came across the most was his great personality and immense pride in what he achieved for his country. RIP.

If I remember right it’s a still from the film ‘The Van’ and the caption has been photoshopped. Original greeting was very much the opposite!
RIP Toto.

That's the one, Noel!
Even though the original is a very funny joke, and a harmless one, I didn't think this was the time and the place for posting it!
Schillachi actually did quite a bit of media in Ireland over the years. very nice man, very self-effacing, and well liked in Ireland. said that he found the t-shirt funny.

Yes Brian it’s a huge compliment to the character of the man how he ended up so well liked in Ireland after breaking so many hearts in 1990. Sad to see him go at such a relatively young age.
The Colm Meaney picture brought back happy memories of the film which I enjoyed and the original book by Roddy Doyle which gave me so many LOL moments. I’ve always associated Schillaci with those good memories.
