His goals will save them. Then he becomes a bargain.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

The £18m for Ollie McBurnie looks better year on year as his reaches maturity as a footballer.

Wise sage since Toshack era

Time will tell although personally I think they need better than Wood to stay up.

That said I wouldn’t of appointed Howe.

Whilst this is a crazy price, the transfer has 2 effects. Wood will get a few goals for a goal shy Newcastle, but weaken a direct rival in a goal shy Burnley. Don’t think Piroe is a Dyche kind of player but fingers crossed he doesn’t go for him. Can see Keiffer Moore going there though

Possibly but still paying £10/15M too much & are setting a precedence that they can & will be fleeced.

That said he offers them a physical ‘number 9’ presence & Wilson’s fitness record is way too risky to rely on and Joelinton has trouble with the banjo & cow’s a**e equation.

Good call regarding Moore.

Allegedly that was the release clause in his contract although Simon Jordan is suggesting that the release clause might not have kicked in until the summer.

I’d have thought £6/7M plus a decent ‘if we stay up’ bonus would be enough if he is their first choice.

Moore has hardly been prolific this season. A goal every 300+ minutes in the league.

True - we got £18M I think but that was in pre-pandemic days so you have to factor that in once you get away from the top half of the Prem + Newcastle of course.

Seems a master stroke buying a striker of their main relegation rival. If they stay up will seem a bargain.

Yes he’s sulking apparently as we declined wolves offer of 5 million to be paid over the term of his contract, a million up front….I think we should cash in personally. He’s never done to well a few seasons in a row and often moves on.
