Novak on 08:45 - Jan 6 by raynor94 | What an absolutely stupid comment, 95 out of the top 100 have been vaccinated. If he wants to play get jabbed simple |
The Aussies granted him a visa, waited for him to fly 14 hours then set him up as an example to prop up their ailing and disastrous government. Then locked him in solitary under guard for a further nine hours. What utter scumbags - lower than a snakes belly and a disgusting way to treat a fellow human being let alone the best tennis player in the world. If there was any debate over his visa it should have been sorted before he embarked on a ridiculously long and pointless 28 hour round trip. That would have been the acceptable way of “applying the rules”.

Maybe his visa was not filled in correctly and when scrutinised on arrival it was revoked. I heard it is something to do (but not confirmed) with the length of time since he had covid.
Novak on 12:21 - Jan 6 with 1073 views | RonaldStump | I wonder if all the people throwing tantrums about Novax getting special treatment and demanding his deportation were sitting in silence a year ago when Tennis players were deemed "Essential" when the rest of Victoria was stuck in lockdown. What an abhorrent world we live in

Novak on 11:21 - Jan 6 by A_Fans_Dad | You are wasting your time. The posters answering you do not recognise a police state when they see one. There is no science that justifies what they are doing, vaccinated people catch and spread the virus just as much, if not more than unvaccinated people. The science says so. They also refuse to accept that any "adverse events" have anything to do with the vaccines even though the vaccine manufacturers admit they do in their own reports. |
so you think "compulsory vaccination" is on a par with rape?

Nobody is saying it is on a par, bottom line is in both cases people are being forced to do something without consent. Is that difficult for you to work out?

Who is forcing Novak Djokovic to play tennis? If he wants to he gets vaccinated if he doesn't he toddles off back to Serbia or Dubai. That's his choice. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Then, no I don't. It is against our human rights and also against international conventions on medical consent. But it is close in respect of the consent necessary to either.

Well if he an invalid visa the Australian are correct to hold him until his appeal is either granted or denied in which cases he will be deported. Just wish out government would deport more of the people who illegal enter the UK or foriegn nationals who commit serious crimes in the UK.

Agree that it should not have got this. Djokovic believes that he is exempt but is unwilling to disclose any evidence to the Australian authorities to support it

That doesn’t make sense at all. From the latest I heard he was granted entry into Victoria after presenting his information honestly- the problem seems to be that if he was travelling from inside Australia (from NSW into Victoria) he’d be fine. The FEDERAL law (ie the all Australian entry requirements) seem to be different. Don’t tell me with a straight face that nobody cross checked this in the Victoria state government! If that’s the case then that’s where the fault lies, not with Novak Djokovic! Also don’t tell me that :- 1. The Federal Australian government didn’t know that he was coming. There must be some federal approval if visas. 2. The Federal Australian government didn’t know his vaccine status . I think it’s 100% obvious they did but chose instead to allow him to fly for 14 hours just to make an example of him and to brag to their citizens “rules is rules” or “we’ll kick his arse out of the country”. What a vile bunch of pr*cks! I’ve even heard one Aussie reporter saying “he’d personally fear for Djokovic’s safety”! Talk about whipping up hate. Fabricated threats of violence??? FFS!!! What a lovely country! What a lovely media! Murdoch certainly has a lot to answer for!

It is true though why should he allowed to break Australian law. Fortunately 92% of adults in the UK are vaccinated and agree with me. Are they all morons or are they just more intelligent than 8% or adults who are stupid enough not to get vaccinated. Bet it must be fun to drive around not wearing seat belts in a car with no MOT and faulty brakes because obeying rules is against your human rights.

I have posted on the whole situation in quite some length - nobody is going to deny Australia the right to set its own visa entry requirements. It’s how they’ve issued a visa and then revoked it - that’s the problem. It’s the fault of the internal bureaucracy of the Australian State requirements over Federal overseas visitor requirements. And the failure of the State of Victoria in recognising the difference which allowed the visa to be issued - by them. If you can’t read don’t post.

It seems he filled out his visa application incorrectly . Good Job the Australian border force can read and spotted the error

I guess I’m stupid for not being vaccinated then , you know getting injected with an experimental drug something that is my my own choice even though eventually I believe we will be forced by being oppressed like the Jewish we’re back in hitlers day , however let me tell you why I think I’m not stupid , I had covid September 2020 yes for a few days I was rough however 2008 I had the flu I genuinely thought I was dying , August 2021 I was in my next door neighbours man cave there were six of us the shed/cave is no wider than 3 meters and about 6 in length , they all went down with covid and they were all jabbed , September we had a piss-up down the in-laws they all went down with covid they are all jabbed , Christmas Day/night just gone same again down the in-laws once again everyone now has covid they are all jabbed my daughter is still (in her room ) testing positive on lateral flows , well what about me ? I’m not jabbed and them 3 instances it has not affected me , I hit the gym 3 times a week run a few times , play football on a Saturday weather permitting, I eat clean drink alcohol very rarely and take vitamin c and d daily , so tell me why should I take a vaccine for a infection that causes Deaths that are most pronounced in people over 75 with chronic kidney disease , dementia , obesity or diabetes. I’m not anti vaccine it’s peoples choice however it’s not the choice for me and just to add my friend Nic a father of three had his booster just over a week ago he is now in hospital with multiple blood clots to the brain

You really cannot comprehend what people write can you? His Vacinated mates had COVID, his vaccinated family had COVID, triple jabbed Scotia had COVID, my triple jabbed niece and her husband have COVID, my double jabbed son, his son, his wife , her brother and partner all had COVID. And all you can say is "Could having a jab topped you getting covid " It absolutely beggars belief.
Novak on 13:59 - Jan 7 with 659 views | RonaldStump | Djokovic is a valuable publicity mark for a lazy prime-minister who has outsourced the job to the states over the past 23 months but has an election looming just weeks away. Why invite someone, assure them of exemption then allow them to fly there, 24 hours or so in transit, only to very publicly refuse them entry at the border otherwise? The borders have been porous to the sports community, movie crews and wealthy oligarchs since the beginning. Djokovic however is outspoken about the right to freedom of choice without being stripped of the right to employment/earn. That makes him a political dissident in the New Xi-Esque Australia. So why do those consequences not apply to the lesser known tennis players and officials who have been allowed in to Australia with ...yes you guessed it exemptions (numbering around 16 at last count)
