Attention to detail always lets you down. He was ORIGINALLY part of the Southampton fc academy. You claim Mount as one of yours so that must mean Whatmough although a reject was from the southampton academy originally.

It is International Break this weekend and even teams in League One who have international players get the fixture postponed. Just looked and it seems Pompey match at home to MK Dons goes ahead, but Doncaster's fixture at home to Shrewsbury says Match Postponed - International call ups !!

"Attention to detail always lets you down". Yep, looks like it, he decided to leave your academy, and he joined ours. Of course, one of our other products is getting his fitness up, and one was dropped from the game or two before. And one other player was on the pitch of course, detail again there.

Regardless of your rules, he left your club at 13, and then spent 4 years at Pompey before he figured for the first team ( a real product). So, 2 players on the pitch on Saturday, attention to detail letting you down there. Even last night, we had 4 academy players on the pitch, despite culling lots of local lads recently. I'm not sure why you are s obsessed with Mount. yes, he was at our academy, but we don't particularly count him. Nice of you to admit we had two academy lads on the pitch

How is your next generation of youngsters coming on? on 19:45 - Oct 7 with 2212 views | SalisburySaint | Well just done quick check of Saints academy players Currently 6 regular Premier League players, Reed, Targett, McGokdrick, Walcott, JWP & Bale Plus 5 players who are regularly in match day squad plus Championship, Gallagher, Cranie, McCarthy and Deam League One Mills, Hoskins, O’Conner, Jones League Two Rose and Turnbull But agree our current event B team not that great, but even so at least two Slattery and Hesketh will end up playing League One or League Two and one other will probably make the first team in the future Not bad really

How is your next generation of youngsters coming on? on 15:47 - Oct 7 by 130yrs_and_one_Cup | Our academy is a bit average to be fair, but in the last 10 years or so we have produced 5 Prem regulars, 5 Championship regulars (6 if you include a lad we took as an 18 year old), 4 who regularly play for the club, and others who play in top leagues in other countries. So, judging by Nick's comments, maybe it isn't that bad. [Post edited 7 Oct 2020 16:45]

Average that’s absolute sh1te even your best club in Pompey won’t send players your way. I know I spoke with their manager at a tournament. Hurts about Prowsey still then. Oh and Barca are after one of ours your struggling even get a L1 club putting out bit rich trying to take the p1ss out of us. [Post edited 8 Oct 2020 7:23]

it appears that quite a few clubs are now using recorded cheering to try and create a bit of 'atmosphere'. I would assume this doesn't apply at Farton, as that would require non stop booing.

Absolute sh1te, really? Nick said that a good academy will produce a product every 3 years, and then get fees for others. We have produced a regular PL player every other year, a Championship player every other year, and a L1 player every other year, plus some L2 players and others who have had fees and others who play in top foreign agues. So, according to Nick's criteria we aren't bad. These are facts.
