Glamorgan cricket 2019 thread 07:40 - Apr 11 with 33212 views | dickythorpe | First up Northants https://www.glamorgancricket.com/cricket/news/2019/april/trio-set-for-championsh I think we'll be more competitive this season but no doubt plenty of highs and lows (reminds me off another sporting side I follow) Excited about Billy Root and the timeless Hogan and Wagg will keep us going. Hopefully the new signings will add to our team and get us RUNS!!!! [Post edited 13 Apr 2019 9:14]

Glamorgan cricket 2019 thread on 18:43 - Apr 19 with 2881 views | dickythorpe | A bad defeat and father time catching up with Hogan. Need to explore early on all the squad, not just persist with what we know already (which isn't that exciting).
Glamorgan cricket 2019 thread on 19:15 - Apr 19 with 2861 views | leighton1318 | Not good enough, and that’s with a team of mostly imports. Lloyd, Carlson and Carey the only locals, I think. Glamorgan cricket losing its relevance, which is brutally sad. I appreciate we’ve never been exclusivey local the way Yorkshire used to be (Brian Davis, Cordle, Majid in the Championship side) but surely South Wales can do better.

Meschede is a run of the mill all rounder, why is he opening the batting for heavens sake. A good start in any form of cricket is vital. Though he wasn't the only top half batsman to let them down today, but he's the only one with any form of excuse. To my mind he's not good facing the new ball, play him down the order and he'll chip in with a few.

We were spoiled having Morris, James, Dale, Maynard, Thomas, Croft, Cosker and Watkin come theough in a short period followed by Henp, Simon Jones etc. Sadly the likes of Adrian Dale, Darren Thomas , Tony Cotten and Cosker would look world class compared to recent years.
