tramp I'd love to agree with you but apply any level of objectivity to her performance tonight; it was a bit sixth form lunchtime debating club wasn't it? And that's being kind.

To be fair, most of her points were relevant and sensible. It's just a shame others had made them 10 minutes before she did.

Corbyn to take part tonight on 23:15 - May 31 with 1869 views | Aquinas | I don't think the BBC, in this instance, can be considered biased. I believe that the audience was an even split of the UK-wide parties. The reason why it looked biased is because the Lib Dem, Greens and Labour supporting audience members would all be anti-tory. Fair play to Rudd as well for debating so closely after her father's death and not mentioning it once.

The other reason it looked biased was this new mania amongst Corbyn supporters of howling with derision at anything a conservative says and screaming in support at anything vaguely coherent that comes out of his mouth. Question Time has been like it for ages. It's a deliberate Momentum strategy. Its closest equivalent was Trump supporters. It's the Trump strategy being followed on social media as well. Ironic really. I personally thought Corbyn was OK tonight. I thought Amber Rudd was OK. I thought Farron was absolutely hopeless, particularly his 'Bake off' nonsense at the end. I will still vote LibDem. The debates don't influence people unless they are genuinely undecided. And at this point, who on Earth is actually undecided. This board shows that. I'm undecided actually. For the first time in my life I might sit this one out. Can't bring myself to vote for my lot right now, all down to the position on Brexit and Farron. We have made ourselves into a single issue party at this election...according to one of our candidates (Stephen Gilbert) I, and all Brexiters, are "f*ckwits". I'm out. Hopefully when we are out of the EU some sanity can be restored to British politics. ...and you are spot on about the Momentum strategy, I find the Labour party repulsive at the moment actually. I can't believe I ever considered voting for them (as a young man). A bunch of overgrown, spoiled brat, teenagers who don't seem to have any self awareness. I don't blame May for sitting out theses low brow debates...what could she (or the public for that matter) possibly gain from the spectacle of 6 grown adults shouting her down and making out she and the Tories are the devil incarnate. To me politics has to be more than that. I would never define myself by the strength of my opposition to somebody (something/some idea ) else. You have got to argue FOR something...and the things you are FOR need to be realistically achievable. I suppose the big cheeses in my party are arguing for something (remaining in the EU) it is just that I disagree and the fact that we have done that debate already and Brexit won. I can't in all consciousness vote for them this time.
