Jazz fckn Richards 17:58 - Dec 14 with 8914 views | marchamjack | seriously seriously useless please can one person come on here and give me a non pss taking defence of him not the only one I accept (JJ lacks a brain, certainly defensively) but NOT GOOD ENOUGH do not want to see him in a Swans shirt again, ever ship out to lower leage club soon as we have another RB in January
| Oh,..Dave, what's occuring? |

Jazz fckn Richards on 18:00 - Dec 14 with 4213 views | GeoffThom | You can't defend basics lower league standard unfortunatly
Jazz fckn Richards on 18:02 - Dec 14 with 4200 views | Gundog | he will have learned a valuable lesson today, though there is no defence for that awful mistake.
| |
Jazz fckn Richards on 18:02 - Dec 14 with 4191 views | magicdaps10 | Not the players fault if he is playing at a standard he is not good enough to perform at. Would give my left ball just to have Tiendalli on the bench at the moment.
| |
Jazz fckn Richards on 18:02 - Dec 14 with 4191 views | KingBony | He made a mistake but everything else he did was fine. We were always going to lose that game, it was written in the stars. When you don't take 4/5 decent chances you will get punished in the league. Why he didn't just hoof it clear first time in the 89th minute I've no idea but it's just one of those things. We were simply not meant to win today.

Jazz fckn Richards on 18:07 - Dec 14 with 4135 views | marchamjack | anyone happy to have him as Rangels long term replacement?...if not (assuming no-one actaully says yes to this) then by definition he is not good enough as not better than what we have and not as good either as what we have ship him out
| Oh,..Dave, what's occuring? |
| |
Jazz fckn Richards on 18:10 - Dec 14 with 4082 views | magicdaps10 | Before the mistake, he should have been composed enough to shield the ball after Tremmell makes the save and listen to the keepers call and let Tremmell just collect the ball at the second attempt. He didn't do too much wrong before that but these are the simple mistakes that makes you a Championship league player rather than a premier league player.

Jazz fckn Richards on 18:15 - Dec 14 with 4013 views | icecoldjack | We did ship him out on loan to a lower league club but he couldn't keep his place in the team! It aint Jazz richards fault he is doing his best, his overall game is ok, but our subs made us weaker and we have known about a need for replacing Rangel with quality for about a year or so. We beat ourselves today, not good enough tactically, not good enough on the ball and not good enough in defensive organisation . Spurs were there to be beaten today, we made the wrong calls tactically and we ended u getting done ourselves. Bony and Siggy are masking just how uch we have fallen off our strong passing game, its been regressing for ages and when the time comes to take control we arnt as comfortable doing it like we used to be, seeing Jazz and Bartley etc blasting the ball long to a player that cant hold the ball up sums things up very well.
Jazz fckn Richards on 18:16 - Dec 14 with 4004 views | Aquinas | I can think of no other reason that he is in our squad other than to fill the quotas. As I said last week he should sign for Newport and he will be a good player at that level.
Jazz fckn Richards on 18:17 - Dec 14 with 3988 views | LeonisGod | Not sure why Rangel went off. We lost our impetus down the right as soon as he did that's for sure. Rangel was having a decent game and gives us something extra going forward, his return pass over the top for Routs made our goal. On the up, pushing for a winner that substitution makes no sense.

Jazz fckn Richards on 18:33 - Dec 14 with 3858 views | deanscfc | Gets a chance because hes a local lad and Monk obviously knows him. In reality he's maybe not even championship quality. Not his fault but he shoulnt be near the side. We all knew that not getting fullback cover in would cost us points so theres no point bring disaplointed now... the board saw we were on 9 points after 3 points and wanted to save the cash. Taylor looks very slow, Rangel is also slowing down and Bartley gives the ball away needlessly...Williams was poor today but is along with Fernandez probably still good enough at this level. Hopefullt its a wake up call in January to strengthen at full back..hopes of a top 8 finish are fading very fast though now.

Indeed. This isn't knee-jerk reaction to today, but our passing game/control through possession has definitely gone down hill (and has been for a while). We used to easily play our way through that pressing that Spurs employed in the first half, but look far too unsure trying to do it now. Althoug, second half today was the best we've been in this regard for a while. Bartley is a good old fashioned centre half. He's fine when we're facing a barrage, but should leave the attempted 40 yard cross-field balls alone. Just because Ash manages them I think he gets a bit too excitable!

Jazz fckn Richards on 18:44 - Dec 14 with 3734 views | LeonisGod | Kyle Walker showed how it should be done. I think that was Montero's hardest game today. Actually, Rangel was showing how it should be done (ignoring the goal, but Kane was always going to win that from a running start). Edit - but let's keep things in perspective. We've still got a great defensive record and there's lots of positives to build on. Individual errors cost us, but with Fab and Rangel on the pitch like the will be next game, we would have had atbleast s draw today. [Post edited 14 Dec 2014 18:46]

The perspective is that our defence is iffy but Fabianski has been masking it with superb performances. Our game management under pressure is fooking woeful, its no suprise that we have taken the lead many times only to buckle when the oppo turns the screw ever so slightly. We have gone backwards in this, something that used to be our trademark is now only seen in patches . If we can't keep the ball we will struggle to keep teams out, its been that way since day one of our prem league adventure! why we have gradually moved away from it im not sure .

Surely it was a knock, Rangel was having a very good game. He was shaking his head when he approached the dug out, either in amazement at being replaced or in disappointment at being injured. [Post edited 14 Dec 2014 19:17]
