| Forum Thread | Key Difference between Marti & Warnock IMO at 05:18 11 Oct 2024
Both Managers joined us when we were fighting relegation and both Managers kept us up. The following summer Warnock signed Derry, Hill Kenny, Mackie, Orr, Helguson and added the diamond Tarabt. Players with fight and Championship experience. We were promoted as Champions. This summer we signed players with decent stats from around Europe with no Championship experience and not much fight. I admit I went into this season feeling positive and excited and expected us to be mid table possibly challenging for Top6 In hindsight it looks as if our transfer strategy was flawed. We need a couple of Colback type signings to fight for points. |
| Forum Thread | Rating our summer signings at 16:37 28 Sep 2024
I know it's still early and hopefully several will improve as they adjust to the Championship but my ratings so far: Nardi 8/10 looks a very good keeper Santos 5/10 Ashby 6/10 Madsen 5/10 Dembele 6/10 Saiti 6/10 Morrison limited game time but 7/10 Celar 4/10 |

Paul Smyth & Sinclair Armstrong could be a good pairing and bring out the best in each other |
| Forum Thread | Mark Warbuton at 17:10 15 Jun 2023
He has left WHU and is moving onto his next challenge. I am hoping he is on route back to us as DOF |
| Forum Thread | Time For Change at 15:26 1 Mar 2023
Lee, Les & Chris Ramsey are failing in every aspect. - The Youth System has not produced a 1st team player for several years (Kakay as a squad player the 1st since Lumley) - We sign one injury prone player after another (Amos, JCS, Balogan, Richards & Roberts in this seasons squad) - The 1st team is the weakest it has been for years with a real possibility of relegation to the 3rd Tier - 3.5 year contract given to Critchley & his 2 coaches only to be sacked after 3 months - The losses have increased to £2m per month - No progress on a new Stadium It has to be time for a change |
| Forum Thread | Today's 11 at 09:17 20 Jun 2020
My starting 11 today in a 4 2 3 1 would be: Kelly Rangel Masterton Barbet Manning Ball (Capt) Amos BOS Eze Chair Hugill Subs Duing Wallace Kane Shodipo Leeds lad + youngsters |
| Forum Thread | Starting 11 v Portsmouth at 09:28 3 Feb 2019
I'd take Eze, Pavel , Leisner and Scowen out of yesterdays team and play 4 4 2. Lumley Cousins Furlong Lynch Bidwell Bright luongo Hall Freeman Smith Wells |
| Forum Thread | Steve Mclaren at 18:17 19 Jan 2019
Steve Mc has done a great job at QPR so far and deserves all the plaudits he has received. However, my concern is that he may be too stubborn for his own good. The team has gone stale and would benefit from changes. Players like Uteh Bright Chair Manning and Smyth deserve to stay in the team when they've done well. Scowen and Cousins doesn't work. Eze needs a break. Matt Smith is useful to defend a lead late in the game, not at HT with us chasing the game. I have a lot of faith in SM and hope he leads us through this blip. |
| Forum Thread | Our Most Inconsistent Performer This Season Is.. at 21:19 14 Apr 2018
Holloway. When we gets it right we really look a team. When we have a decent run we all get excited but then... he plays Eze as a lone striker and we lose, he makes 6 changes today against a team with everything to play for and we lose. He keeps Smyth on the bench, our most effective striker. IH wins us points but he also costs us points with his strange selections. Should he stay or go? I'm back on the fence. |

Left a tad early, we were crap, not a single shot on target`` |

Had we held our lead away to Boro and yesterday v Villa we would now be 5th. We are close to being a good team. |

Of Men Behaving Badly and Doc Martin fame is an avid QPR fan. Top man. |
| Forum Thread | Piss Poor at 19:25 14 Oct 2017
Today we played a team without any confidence, that hasn't won for months in a half empty stadium that were getting booed from the fans that were there. We should have gone for their throats and put them to the sword. To lose our 4th consecutive away lead and come home with 1 point is piss poor. Our team is better than this. Honestly, Pavel starting? Mackie starting, Wheeler and Bright on the bench.. |

talk sport discussing QPR this morning and wanted to talk to LF but Les said he was too poorly with a flu to take a telephone call. Bless. |

| Forum Thread | Austin shows his value v Wet Spam at 16:58 25 Sep 2016
Must have felt good for Charlie to score at the council house after their owners questioned his value before we sold him to the Saints. Looking forward to playing Wet Spam next season😉 |
| Forum Thread | JFH at 17:36 5 Dec 2015
I just want to say I'm feeling very positive about JFH. His interview whilst at Burton was very impressive. I honestly couldn't give a rats ar@e about his Chelsea connections, 2 of our greatest Managers, Venables and Sexton had those connections. Good luck Jimmy and welcome. PS talk sport interview with Bircham yesterday was very disappointing, only focussed on his Chelsea connection |
| Forum Thread | Derby Top, Rangers reach Cup Final at 15:42 28 Nov 2015
Aren't we all counting our blessings that Ferdinand stuck with his mate Ramsey after we finished bottom of the EPL and were relegated without a whimper instead of going for Clement or Warbuton? Just because Derby are top and Rangers have reached the Scottish Cup Final I doubt either of those Managers could have got us to 15th in the Championship and playing consecutive games without a striker on the pitch. Take a bow Sir Les, you are wise beyond words. Now, you need to ignore the credentials of available Managers such as Pearson and stick with your mates. |
