Got to my seat about 2.30 yesterday and was surprised to notice Amit was sitting two seats away from me with his friends and family sitting all around us. Went over shook his hand had a couple of photos and a brief chat, asked him why he wasn't in the directors box and he said he had a lot of people with him and wanted to sit and share the experience with the fans, had a big man hug celebrating bobbys goal and he sobbed like a baby at the final whistle, he then gave my wife his scarf as we was leaving, we are so lucky to have him on board he came across as a total gentleman with a real passion for the club.
RIP TREVOR HUTTON Former QPR in the community Trust Coach Trevor Hutton died suddenly yesterday aged 53. Trevor worked on the Kickz project in Brent and was a very well respected coach in the area. A father figure to many young youths in North West London. He was also one of Raheem Sterlings first coaches. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten with the QPR family
Drove past the club at 715pm tonight, outside main reception was like the motor show, approx 10 or more cars parked up on the pavement outside, including a masserati and top of the range Porsche both so chaved up only a footballer would drive, couple of chauffeur cars also, something's happening for sure but your guess is as good as mine, looks like the club has gone into panic mode,
My daughter and a couple of friends are looking at doing a ski trip at the end of next month, My daughter has skied a fair bit when she was younger but only in the states, the rest of her friends are beginners. they are looking at somewhere in Europe that's not going to cost a fortune. There not that fussed about nightlife just somewhere with decent facilities that's not silly money to have a few drinks and a meal in the evening. Any advice on countries/resorts and holiday companies would be very much appreciated. Thanks!!
How's everyone doing? , west Londons pretty bad at the moment very windy, but nothing to serious in my area, few fences down etc, but I would imagine it's much worse in the more rural areas.
There seems to be quite a few musicians/ guitarists on this board so thought I would seek some advice. My mate who is currently living in the usa is looking at selling his guitar, Its a gibson es-335 cherry red serial no 168084. It is known as a stop tail version. He thinks it's a 1964 model but not 100% sure, guitar comes in an original Gibson case I believe, and is currently with me in London, the question is where would be the best place to get a valuation and best place to sell it, or would he be better off selling from the USA. any advice appreciated.
Looking at driving to Switzerland at the end of august, would like to spend a day at the nurburgring then spend 3 or 4 days in the black forest, any tips, advice on visiting the nurburgring routes in the black forest or towns worth a visit Would be appreciated. may try and visit nuremberg aswell before heading across to Switzerland. Many thanks.
Disgusting lack of media coverage to the memory of 52 innocent people who lost their lives to terrorist attacks London, virtually no coverage, and nothing from our prime minister who decided a jolly up at Wimbledon was more in order. why.
Anyone else watching this ? One of the best shows on tv for a long time. very funny, emotional and really good story lines with a message in every one. The Best thing Ricky gervais has done since the office IMO.
Read on reports board the team are off for 5 days in Dubai. if true then it is simply disgusting IMO. rooted to the bottom of the league as good as down, just been shafted 4 1 by Swansea and they see fit to pis.s off on a jolly up to Dubai. Team bonding they will tell us, go fukcing bowling or paint balling like normal people ( that's all you deserve) rather than totally taking the pis,s out of us fans.
