I'm fed up of this short career nonsense. Why should they be able to work for 15 years then retire? How about you, Max? How many years have you been working, can you afford to retire yet? When football finishes, get another job, it's what used to happen. Sportspeople are pampered asshats. |

Well I'll never support Robinson and I don't vote Toty or Labour, they are all scam artists. Patriotism, nationalism...all it leads to is trouble. Patriots are condemned as racists, tacists claim to be patriots and nationalism, well a border is just a reason fpr someone to start an armed conflict. Not that I'm a pacifist but most fights are over something stupid. |

If it's in tax or in higher prices, smaller wage increases, it still affects us "working people" Of greater concern is the change in fiscal rules to enable more borrowing, it could cost the UK a lot more in interest payments on our debts, the bond yield has already risen, theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/oct/29/bond-vigilantes-punish-rachel-reeves-truss-style-market-meltdown#:~:text=Benchmark%2010-year%20UK%20government,government%20yields%20has%20also%20risen. We'll have to wait and see. |

A pointless response, Kilky is totally blinkered, it's all Westminsters fault in his opinion. |

Another silly comparison. Allen didn't have to go to Stoke BUT he couldn't come to Swansea as we wouldn't bid enough. Why do you persiste in repeating lies? It's a matter of record that we wouldn't match the 8 million Liverpool wanted and that after a superb Euros Stoke bid 13 million and off he went. What leverage do Swansea have to poersuade him to go? More appealing is waiting til he's a free agent where, instead of Swansea getting 500k, he picks up higher wages. This post has to go down as either wummery or plain nonsense. Actually it'd be both because you know very well no player can be forced to sign for any club. |

Of course its order books are full, it's losing a hell of a lot of equipment. Do you have any links to back up what you say? Any proof, actuall proof? PS, I know, you won't provide any becaause we'll just ridicule the source. To be fair Pravda is quite biased. |

Well yes, as standards declined, money spent trying to combat the problem was cut back, policing was cut etc, the problem grew and today we see an almost exponential surge in the numbers. We have addict parents producing addict kids, some are addicted before they are born. |

What about the Enfys hospitals...whose fault were they? How mcu did they cost Wales? Did we have the staff for them? How many people went into an Enfys? |

This has been a problem for more than 14 years. Successive governments have failed this country going back 50 years. Labour and Tory, both to blame. |

It's not necessarily about what tax you'll pay. The changes, and I haven't looked closely, may affect prices. Businesses have to pay more NI, they will pass the cost on somewhere. I'm sure others can find better examples. |

An "absolute shitshow" isn't really fair. It's much worse than that. For years now we have sen taxes rising AND services being cut, where does all the money go? I'm certain the bill for politicians in the UK is far too high. I have long been saying that the more politicians we allow to exist, the worse things get. Just wait til there's another 36 in Cardiff bay. |

Very true. I bought poppies for myself and my wife, shook the hand of the RN veteran (26 years) who sold it and said thank you. Today's young people think they know, they know nothing. |

It's been like it for several years. When I was working in the town centre, over 2 years ago, I used to see it all everyday. Go into a multi storey CP and find the druggies using the stairwells for toilets, shooting up, drinking alcohol til they pass out and then throwing up everywhere. Sometimes they'd try and break into cars. At the rear of the Kingsway you'd often find 2 or 3 who'd been on the rob, they'd be going through their haul to see what they could sell and what to dump. Some of them were decent people who'd fallen into a dark place, some of them were proper scumbags, the rest were somewhere in between. The town centre was a mess back then and I can see it hasn't improved any. |

What you suspect and what reality is are often strangers. Maybe others can confirm if Williams wanted to keep Lowe but we know Weds made him an offer way out of our ballpark. bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cp9595gkkpeo#:~:text=Williams%2C%20meanwhile%2C%20says%20he%20would,said%20the%20Swansea%20head%20coach. Cabango can earn more money elsewhere and while I don't know what he's on right now I'd guess that it's more than 5k per week. If he has been offered a sizeable pay cut after being one of our best players this season then that is insulting in pro football terms. I also reckon that you saying he needs counselling is something he'd alsofind insulting and disrepectful. Now then, read the link, Swansea could not afford Lowe's wages because the bid by another club was much more than we'd pay. That is not semantics, that is fact. Yet again you are a stranger to facts, preferring your own fantasy. |

Aome people claimed taxes wouldn't rise but most could see they had too. The NI rise does worry employers, it's an extra cost to them and is forecast by the OBR to have a suppressing effect on wages going forward. I'm not really bothered by tax rises as to improve things, taxes absolutely had to rise. For improvements though, we also need the public sector to spend more wisely, to cut waste and then, politics should be looking to vut it's own costs, the gravy train needs controlling. |
