Today was my first trip in about 6 months to Spotland due to several different reasons, but watching Andy Cannon today has filled me with so much optimism for the future of the club. EVERYTHING he did today was so positive. Whether at full back or what seemed to be central midfield in the second half he looked great.
Would love to see him in an advanced position after he put MK's left back on his backside a few times.
Full marks to Hilly and the staff for having the guts to play the youngsters in an out of position.
We've had a bid rejected for a loan move for someone who Hill wanted to help improve this season and next season. Still looking to possibly bring people in. Good to know!
Made up for Cambridge and their fans tonight. Great game plan. Quite open first half and then they knew they were getting an onslaught second half.
Defensive positioning wise in the box was SUPERB. Manure managed to get a shed load of crosses in, but every time there was someone in the right place at the right time.
I've only just watched the Van Gaal interview about the pitch and the ref. What a clown. You barely see pitches of that quality in the lower leagues, it looked immaculate on the telly.
I've liked Capaldi from the off. As others have said he can go from humorous to frankly quite serious and scary by the end of a sentence. Tonights episode was excellent also.
It's something Stephen Moffat does....makes something so common seem quite terrifying..."Something under the bed" being the theme tonight but also the Weeping Angels are one of the greatest but simple concepts ever written for the show!
