In the same manner as Darran likes to create individual threads to make himself feel special, warm and fuzzy inside at the expense of someone else, I too will do the same. Darran may think he knows it all - afterall he spends way too long on this forum and thinks he knows posters better than themselves. However, he knows f*ck all. He just likes to feel important. He's a failed mod, and a failure at being right. He is.... a failure. So here's a little of his own medicine (nobody can say he hasn't asked for this!). Discuss. |

Fitting in with all the "you'll never guess which manager has just rocked up at the Liberty" nonsense.... You'll never guess who's shown up at Morgans with Huw Jenkins in tow? David Ronald Jones! An honarary welshman who could do wonders for our club! Yeah! Let's get this name trending shall we?!? [Post edited 10 Dec 2015 21:13]

Pretty shocking really. Am reliably informed this was during the match. surely he's trying to devise a plan of attack with his eyes closed??? [Post edited 6 Dec 2015 16:19]

It's that Chelsea are still shyte. Even more embarrassing for them as their team is worth 10x more than ours, and always big themselves up as deserved winners every time. A club built on sheer arrogance. Wouldn't suprise me either if Moron-yo also had a contract with a huge payout clause to entice him originally. But still.... we're shyte. |

Heard this and thought I'd share it with you folks! Apparently, Garry Monk was given his role as manager ultimately because he was a yes man. The good results came in which allowed the Swans to reach a good end of season result, and so it was thought investors would allow us a better foothold in the Premier League. The thought of investors having a percentage of our club was roundly dismissed by supporters, and despite public statements by the club that only the right investor would be taken on board it still didn't go well. The talk that we can only survive with investment coming from the club was ignored - and our position in the table, along with our good results, meant there was reason to do so. Which takes us up to present. At the same time we start to see and hear about investors again, our performance takes a nose-dive. Investors have been seen at our last game and we lose. We've lost a few recently, which may change the minds of many who did not want investors at our club. Shortly a statement will be made to once again announce that further talks are being made with potential investors to put money towards the club. This has all been discussed with Garry who in turn does not provide the best suited team positions and tactics. Rumours surely...... but it does make you think.... doesn't it? Huw and co couldn't be capable of that.... could they? Your views? |
| Forum Thread | Smoke Free Swansea at 12:10 10 Oct 2015
Ladies and Gents. There is a survey from Swansea council that I would urge you all to complete - on whether to make Swansea a smoke free city. Consider this - smokers have known for decades the dangers of smoking, yet have made a conscious decision to take up the habit at the cost of everyone around them - forced to share their death fumes. Non-smokers can't even eat outside on sunny days with their families, or walk outside through a doorway without getting a facefull of fumes from selfish and anti-social smokers who hang around in gangs without a consideration for people having to walk between them to exit the building. Smoking is a habit that rightfully deserves to be stamped out. If creating a nanny-state policy against smoking is needed to protect the health of others, who have taken the decision not to indulge in cancer development and lung destruction, then so be it. So, you'll find the link for the survey below. http://www.swansea.gov.uk/smokefreesurvey |

Have to give a shout out to Jack Cork. Thought he was excellent today. Him and Williams in centre really did look the part! Closed on the opposition really well. Also thought Kyle Naughton did very well too and deserves a mention! Our backs are coming together rather nicely with the mids I think! But overall I think Cork stood out today!
