An ugly 3 points could actually be the best of both worlds.
While I'd certainly take it, I'm a tiny bit concerned that an entertaining and impressive 3 points gives them more of an excuse to back off any further upgrades before the window closes. |  |

What to come away from the game a win and thinking we deserved to win the game, not giving gifts away from unwise passes or leaving ourselves over exposed defensively.
The first half and most of the second against Gillingham we looked in control but think most of us saw players with opportunities to turn with the ball and play forward but were unwilling to do so, lack of skill, the free will to do so , supporting players not in the right position or not confident enough, inexperienced in the role they are in.
Want to see use all areas of the pitch making it big and easy to attack, using every player to do so and that includes the Centre Forward
Want to see the opposition unable to pass unhindered down our wings and through the middle of the park, defenders and midfielders in positions to stifle the opposition, overwhelming them on the ball to keep pressure on them to make mistakes, ultimately to gain position high up the pitch to score and win the game.
HOPE we can get players like Ronald and Eom who can open up defences,high enough up the pitch quick enough to do so, while our defenders are in positions to counter attacks. | | | |
