The fact that it is a short career is probably the main reason why they should knuckle down, enjoy it and make the best they can of themselves.
As you say some of them are so detached from the real world especially with the current economic climate.

Martin has indicated his mistake in his dealing with Obafemi and Patterson and in general. He is developing his own skill set and Patterson and Obafemi have been good learning experiences for him.
Form of the team has improved as Martins exasperation has increased. His assistant also comes over as far 'too reasonable' for my liking.
Some people simply do not return in good faith good acts done for them. The more you pay the less you get.
