There is a virus out there Les-mondo. See if you can get an old paper from your old people's home and read up on it.
You’re very lucky that your lifestyle hasn’t changed since the lockdown SM: wake up, post on the Ugly, go to bed, repeat. Why do you have such an air of smug satisfaction about you when your life is objectively dismal?

You don't know anything about my life.
I can tell you aren't happy about yours though, as you let other posters 'ruin your day'. That is a very weak position to be in. You need to get some more positivity about you, get out in the garden fella, do some gardening, take some deep breaths and maybe do some stuff for other people, as it stops you thinking about yourself.

How do you figure that, caller? Who ruins my day on here? It’s fun to give you and the likes of 22 a bit of abuse but that’s just something to pass a bit of dead time. The fact you believe mongboards are capable of ruining someone’s day is quite revealing isn’t it? Has it happened to you recently? Do you need to talk to someone?

You need to stop being so obsessed by me. Les was exactly the same as you, he just couldn't let go. Maybe you are les' twin brother, or maybe you are just les with another of your myriads of on-line characters.
Ever thought of writing a script for a TV comedy? you have more characters than Harry Enfield. Don't let your talent go to waste.
Anfield disappeared behind a blizzard of ticker tape as 15,000 #Pompey fans welcomed their side onto the pitch for a League Cup fourth round tie at Liverpool in October 1980. #PompeyHistorypic.twitter.com/qTUvIl5d84

That's just an invented number posted on a pompey fans site by a pompey fan, notoriously prone to exaggerating attendance figures.
The total attendance was 32,201, as reported at the time by both the Portsmouth Evening News and the Liverpool Echo. So, you expect us to believe that there were only 17,000 Liverpool fans there when they were reigning champions and their average home gate that season was more than 37,500? Dream on. For comparison, their home gate v Southampton that season was 41, 575.
Even on pompey fans sites that number keeps going up and that match was 40 years ago. A few years ago, you were claiming it was 12,000. In future, you'll be trying to bump it up even more. At the rate you're going, there will have been no Liverpool fans there at all.
The more you lie, the less anyone believes anything you post and your lies have been found out on numerous occasions now. Little Pompey, forever in our shadow. Your last 30,000 home average was nearly 70 years ago, when Fratton was packed with sailors.

This is a very cynical outlook, Dirk.
Anyone would think that you are accusing Pompey fans of inflating a number every time they tell the tale.....
Local rag said 12,000 planned to travel, but you know best, 15,000 easily beats your average home attendance for 32 years between 1970-2001 (bar 3 seasons, none of which made 16,000)
So Liverpool had 17,000 scattered round the other 3 sides of Anfield? Yeah right
Anyone would think that you are accusing Pompey fans of inflating a number every time they tell the tale.....
My cynicism over this has led me to another discovery. Pompey fans have been tampering with attendance figures of old matches online. If you go back to the original newspaper reports, you find that they've since added a few thousand more on to a lot of their attendances figures. It's probably what 130 spends the rest of his time doing.
so, even being generous, I can't get you up to 50,000 tickets, and that is what the official line is, no club has ever sold 50k for a final at Wembley
Page last updated at 15:38 GMT, Thursday, 11 March 2010 E-mail this to a friend Printable version Southampton supporters demand more JPT final tickets Southampton Southampton supporters' organisation The Saints Trust claims the club should have received more Johnstone's Paint Trophy final tickets.
The Saints have sold their full allocation of 44,000 tickets for the game at Wembley against Carlisle. United received 24,000 tickets, and by Thursday had sold just over half.
So according to you Carlisle had 22,500 fans, course they did. 15,000 Lower 3,500 Middle 4,000 Top tier
When in fact they sold roughly 12,500, 10,000 less
It's hard to say how many they've tampered with but, basically, it means you can't believe any pompey attendance figures posted online any more.
Even on here, I've noticed they've changed some of the figures. Their average for 1949/50, for example, has gone up to over 37,000 when before it was 36,000. I guess hacking a site like this can't be very difficult for someone who's that obsessed:
So we agree Little Pompey selling 40,000 tickets in 2019 is not a record figure Saints sold 44,000, and had around 10,000 more easy
1976 Final attendance of 100,000 may/may not be a made up figure, but we can't prove either way.
Whereas 2008 Final you can easy see at least 126 empty seats (on 46 sec Kanu goal) in Club Wembley/Cardiff sections which only really covers less than 10% of capacity. Add the min 300 seats segregation, no way could attendance be more than 89,600.(generous) So the official attendance of 89,974 is definitely a made up figure, your words
So we can agree 1976 now beats 1939 (It's in the Record books)your words
3 facts therefore need editing
You answered this with,
"How many Carlisle fans in the middle and top sections?"
We're in agreement though that 3 of your facts need editing, Yes?
How do you explain Little Pompey having an average of 16, 156 in the Second Division in 1960 when Saints had an average of 18,022 in the Third Division the same season? A division higher, a bigger ground and still you got smaller crowds than us.
And how about 2010, when Little Pompey in the Premier League got an average of 18,249 when Saint, two divisions lower, in the third tier, an average of 20,982 ?
Two divisions lower than Little Pompey and Saints still got bigger crowds.

How do you explain Soton having 12 lower seasonal average attendances in the top flight than Pompey have in their last 5 seasons at the bottom.
It looks like Pompey aren't glory hunters, by sheer stats alone
