Has the huge immigrant population of Wales skewed the referendum vote in Wales ?

What is it something like a quarter of the population of Wales was not born in Wales, what can the Welsh do if they cant win via the ballot box ? ............ hmm

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Big P

As you know, we ve squabbled on here and that s fine but it's fair to say we know the limits.

I've crossed the line many times but sometimes ,seriously, I wonder what goes through people s heads at times like these.

People react in different ways in times of strife

...and we re right in strife

Vile, xenophobic bigot?

If I open my eyes I see you.

Btw, how does one know what poster is whom and how many accounts they have.

Jesus, I ll dig up scousejack if it's that important but right now, posters mean nothing to me, mainly because I'm seeing events unfolding as they did 33 yrs ago.

I still have an attic full of memorabilia including the There once was an ugly duckling, forerunner of Jack to a king

Darran is Big Phil and during your feud went for you.

Called you mentally ill, xenophobic bigot.

He had a free reign against you and you are too dull to notice.

I have a soul. I'm a nice fella to most people. If you weren't such a whatever it is you are I'd be nice to you too.

But you know where you are with me pal. I've never pretended to be anyone else and I'm sure you'll agree I speak as I find.

What I can't abide are people, truly awful people on here who create usernames to mentally bully and torture people.

You should just be aware when you read back through the torrent of abuse you were getting from someone you thought you didn't know, Big Phil G, well you did, and the enemy was within and was Prosser.

If he has something to say to you he should have the guts to say it as himself.

That I find truly vile, concerning and sickening.

It's up to you, you should just be aware.

It's well enough known that the vast majority of immigrants in Wales - and those who price out local young Welsh people in the north and west of the country with their second homes - are English.

How can you immigrate from one part of the United Kingdom to another? You're talking about moving house.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

Plenty of people round here view moving from Neath to Briton-Ferry as emigrating!

Exactly.

It seems as though some people cannot grasp the fact that we are the United Kingdom, emphasis on the "United".

I was merely pointing out that if you added up all the Poles, Indians, Germans etc. who have settled in Wales in the last, say, ten years, their numbers would be as nothing compared to the number of English people who have moved here. And their effect on local young peoples buying power in rural areas is as nothing compared to the distorting influence on the housing market of wealthy English incomers.

Of course I'm aware of the United Kingdom - but it's not particularly united these days: devolved powers etc. And most people I come across in work/social contexts regard the Welsh (& Scottish) with suspicion, disdain or outright hostility.

Don't be coming all lovey dovey with the English just because it suits you now.

Besides which, I just don't get the premise of the OP - there simply aren't thousands of Poles/Iraqis/Afghans etc. roaming the streets of Swansea or Aberystwyth.

It's the same pressures being felt in the picturesque corners of Cornwall and Cumbria, only here we have the added complication of language.

It has to be asked though if most people you encounter react to you like that have you perhaps thought about moving in different circles, in a social context at least?

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.
