The Official Norwich City v Swansea City Matchday Thread on 16:56 - Nov 7 by PozuelosSideys | We arent good enough. Theres no tempo and theres a serious lack of ideas going forward from the management. Did we have a shot on goal, did Ruddy need to make a save? People can blame Gomis all they want (and today fair enough), but we create NOTHING. We look like a team that is scared and i get the impression all is not well within the squad - they spend the game arguing with each other. Monk should get 3 games imo. |
3 games could be too late

1 more game, because its Bournemouth lose that and we are right in the relegation mix

The Official Norwich City v Swansea City Matchday Thread on 16:54 - Nov 7 by GeoffThom | Sorry to say but he should get it tonight in my book |
He was offered the chance of help not long ago but decided that he was good enough for the job alone. Thar was a warning from the board in my opinion and he has very little time left now. There's far too much to lose and he has demonstrated he isn't up to the job.

The Official Norwich City v Swansea City Matchday Thread on 17:01 - Nov 7 with 1983 views | bluenile | We go on about getting a striker in during the transfer window, but the way this is going we'll end up losing Ayew to 'Pool then. I genuinely think Monk doesn't see a problem. Every game we play at half pace, when in the past we could 'ping' the ball about like nobody's business. Another thing that gets me is players like Ash saying "We have to do some soul-searching", and others saying week in week out that's it's not good enough, then going out and playing at that pace! Shelvey needs to be ditched after that, lazy as feck. Not good enough, none of it, an insult to the shirt and the fans that pay every week.

The Official Norwich City v Swansea City Matchday Thread on 17:02 - Nov 7 with 1969 views | AnotherJohn | Indeed we were dire today. Some regulars felt at the start of this season that we did not need genuine competition for Gomis upfront. Well okay, but the chickens are now coming home to roost. True, part of the problem is in midfield, but we do not look like we can put chances away. A couple more games with this level of performance and we will be right in the dogfight. I thought Norwich looked a poor team and the games won't get any easier.

The Official Norwich City v Swansea City Matchday Thread on 16:58 - Nov 7 by builthjack | 5 points out of 24. Not good. I pray that we win next week. We know we have the capability, it's up to the management and players to sort it out. |
The worst thing about that run is apart from Arsenal we haven't really played any top sides. I hope Monk isn't too proud to accept help because this season has got relegation written all over it.
The Official Norwich City v Swansea City Matchday Thread on 17:04 - Nov 7 with 1883 views | londonlisa2001 | It's easy to blame Gomis and he is truly as bad at the moment as we have had in this division, but Ayew, Montero and Shelvey will barely need a shower. JJS ran quicker to get off the pitch than at any point during the game. The balance is hopeless and Monk's selection every week is fast becoming the very definition of hope vs experience. This team set up is wrong, and it will stay wrong until we change something whether that be personnel or manager. I think we are real danger at the moment of being the team that has far too much quality to go down, until we go down.

The Official Norwich City v Swansea City Matchday Thread on 16:53 - Nov 7 by raynor94 | There will be quite a few I told you so on here tonight, the usual suspects are gathering as I post! |
It's not that though Raynes is it? There are some serious questions about that today and the recent trend. Why is Cork no longer allowed on the pitch? Why did we pay 5m for Eder if he's going to play 3.5 minutes in desperation Why is the team so slow and ponederous? Why do we have no attacking ideas? What, if they are not scoring goals are Gomis and Ayew for? Why are those two undroppable? Why do our players that can no longer shoot from around the box? Why isolate Naughton so badly? and a massive one for me: Why do the players look so unhappy in their work and with each other? I don't give a toss who is manager, never have. I'm not one for personalities but that was seriously abject today against a frightened side that were ready for surrender. We decided to surrender instead. I found the last half an hour almost unwatchable and if all we get is the usual Pro-monk, anti-monk sh1t, that is a shame. Are you seriously happy with that?

Doubted him? I'm just saying that certain people never wanted him, have never supported him and won't be happy whatever he does. Anyway you thought the sun shone out of his arse last season. I don't know if it's me but I'm not understanding where this is going? It's football and managers get sacked,if he gets sacked I won't be in mourning and I'll give my full support, unlike some have done with Monk to the next man through the door.

It's not a problem.. Gomis can't play football.. Naughton and Taylor are rubbish going forward Teams are suffocating Gylfi We have no width on the right Jonjo is wobbling again We struggle on set pieces Our 'attacks' (if you can call it that).. are non existent so how can we fix this to integrate our most potent weapon.. Andre Ayew? you play this formation at home to get rid of the cobwebs.. .............................Fabianski............................. .............Amat...Williams...Fernandez............... Rangel............Britton.........Jonjo.........Tabanou .................................Gylfi.................................. ......................Ayew............................................ ...................................Eder.................................

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he went for Brenda. I'm not saying it's right, but I think he may well do so. There will be a few of the board who will not be able to stomach the thought of their £5 or £10m disappearing down the nearest toilet.
