We arent good enough. Theres no tempo and theres a serious lack of ideas going forward from the management. Did we have a shot on goal, did Ruddy need to make a save?
People can blame Gomis all they want (and today fair enough), but we create NOTHING. We look like a team that is scared and i get the impression all is not well within the squad - they spend the game arguing with each other.

We go on about getting a striker in during the transfer window, but the way this is going we'll end up losing Ayew to 'Pool then. I genuinely think Monk doesn't see a problem. Every game we play at half pace, when in the past we could 'ping' the ball about like nobody's business. Another thing that gets me is players like Ash saying "We have to do some soul-searching", and others saying week in week out that's it's not good enough, then going out and playing at that pace! Shelvey needs to be ditched after that, lazy as feck. Not good enough, none of it, an insult to the shirt and the fans that pay every week. |  |

It's easy to blame Gomis and he is truly as bad at the moment as we have had in this division, but Ayew, Montero and Shelvey will barely need a shower.
JJS ran quicker to get off the pitch than at any point during the game.
The balance is hopeless and Monk's selection every week is fast becoming the very definition of hope vs experience. This team set up is wrong, and it will stay wrong until we change something whether that be personnel or manager.

It's not that though Raynes is it? There are some serious questions about that today and the recent trend.
Why is Cork no longer allowed on the pitch?
Why did we pay 5m for Eder if he's going to play 3.5 minutes in desperation
Why is the team so slow and ponederous?
Why do we have no attacking ideas?
What, if they are not scoring goals are Gomis and Ayew for?
Why are those two undroppable?
Why do our players that can no longer shoot from around the box?
Why isolate Naughton so badly?

Why do the players look so unhappy in their work and with each other?
I don't give a toss who is manager, never have. I'm not one for personalities but that was seriously abject today against a frightened side that were ready for surrender. We decided to surrender instead. I found the last half an hour almost unwatchable and if all we get is the usual Pro-monk, anti-monk sh1t, that is a shame.
